Bubalina is a girly brand that tries to put the fun back into spa. Pong is a priority and there are 18 different scents in the range. Most of this range’s ingredients are organic and Bubalina sticks with the program on packaging, which is based on recycled materials and vegetable inks. Apart from a whiff of phenoxyethanol, there is nothing not to like and plenty to love.
We have selected several gift sets from the Bubalina range (excluding the body wash as it doesn’t meet our ingredient standards) for the Truth In Aging store. There are two sets of the rich body butter (one of our Five Best body lotions) at $55.49 (TIA newsletter subscribers get 10%). One set has Cranberry Brown Sugar, Orange Vanilla, Spicy Pumpkin. The Spicy Pumpkin is personal favorite of mine. I love the gingerbready smell and dry skin just purrs with delight at the rich, but light texture. Pumpkin, which is here in oil, extract and enzyme form, proving that there is lot more to pumpkin than something to carve. pumpkins are full of beta-carotene, one of the plant carotenoids that is converted to vitamin A in the body. The second set has the Wild Pomegranate, Dolcetto and Tropical Lime body butters. Shop here at the TIA store.
The eminently giftable Carousel sets contain six sugar scrubs or six hand and body lotions (Cranberry Bown Sugar, Tropical Lime, Tahitian Vanilla, Dolcetto, Wild Pomegranate and Chocolate). I have personally tried the Tropical Lime sugar scrub and found it gentle, effective and with a tangy, wake-up smell. Shop here at the TIA store.
