There is a new eyelash growth product on the block, Adonia Lash Alive ($135). I haven’t found out much about it, other than this list of ingredients:
Organic Rosemary, Organic Cedarwood, Organic Ylang Ylang, Organic Chamomile, Organic Patchouli, Organic Lemon, Organic Lavender, Organic Sage, Organic Yarrow, Organic Peppermint, Organic Basil, Organic Myrtle, Organic Eucalyptus, Organic Lemongrass, Organic Cypress, Organic Thyme, Purified Water.
I can’t believe that this is a full list. If it is, it is hard to believe that this actually works at growing eyelashes or eyebrows. If anyone has tried this or has the full list of ingredients, do let us know.
In the meantime, I was highly amused to see that behind Adonia Lash Alive, is none other than Dr Mark Binette. He is behind – or perhaps I should say the legitimizing medical front for – a company called Greek Island Labs that makes one of the worst face creams I have ever used. Athena 7 Minute Lift is painted on the face with a brush where it sets like plaster of paris. In my review I said it felt like going to the dentist after the injection has worn off. The active ingredient is cement.

Maybe your eyebrows wouldn’t grow much but it sounds like it would smell really nice!
Hello! I tried to do online research for eyelashes and eyebrows before purchasing anything. In my teens, I over-tweezed my brows, such that I have practically none left – what silly thing to do – they never grew back and hence I have had to pencil in with what eyebrow hairs I have left. Also, I have been glad to have rather long eyelashes and would receive rather nice comments about them, of which I was grateful. But, I have been chronically ill and much to my dismay almost all of my eyelashes fell out (probably due to stress and medication). I knew they would grow back, but I wanted something to help out. I ordered the Lash Alive and Brow Revive. It took awhile to arrive as I live in a different country. When I emailed and left a toll free inquiry about arrival time, I was called back and emailed promptly and very politely. The parcel did arrive when they predicted and was very nicely packaged. I have been applying both products for about 5 days. Most of my eyelashes have since grown back, but since using the Lash Alive, I am noticing a few new lashes starting and noticed that my eyelashes curl better and seem to be ‘healthier’. For the eyebrows, I think I have to wait a bit, but the product Brow Revive seems to thicken up (like a hair gel would) the eye brow hairs, and I am noticing just a bit of new little eyebrow hairs. Just with the healthier looking lashes and easier to curl lashes (and mascara applies much better) and the upped caliber of what eyebrow I currently have, I am really pleased. In just 5 days I have noticed a difference that I like. I think I would probably order these products again when they are finished. You do have to be careful not to get any Lash Alive in your eye because it does sting and you need to flush the eye (I used my eye drops), but applies neatly with the thin brush. Both products dried well and did not interfere with my makeup routine. I was impressed by the excellent packaging and by the professional and prompt service to my inquiry. I have noticed an improvement in a few days – so even if it works like a conditioner would with your head of hair, I am happy thus far.
