Lines around my lip came recently and with an uncalled for aggression. So I was thrilled when Your Best Face, the makers of my favorite eye cream Correct, told me they were walking on a new product for lip lines. Even more exciting was that YBF decided to work with Truth In Aging’s VIP members on a pre-launch test. The VIPs went back to YBF with valuable insights that have inspired an even better product, officially called Define, that will be available for the first time, along with some other goodies from YBF, in the Truth In Aging Store right after the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Personally, I thought Define 1.0 was very good and I have been using the “in beta” samples every day for going on six months. Without question, my lips are redder, fuller. Meanwhile the lines around my mouth have become fainter. My feedback to YBF was that this was a product that could potentially be every bit as powerful as the Correct eye cream (which has also been subjected to an upgrade).
I’ll publish all the ingredients after the holiday, but for now will point out that Define has some serious antiagers, including two peptides that might give the mighty Matrixyl a run for its money. Syncoll is a small peptide with a unique sequence to mimic the human body’s own mechanism to produce collagen via TGF-β, tissue growth factor. It is in good company with Syn-tacks, which stimulates a broad spectrum of things responsible for youthful skin – laminin V, collagen types IV, VII and XVII and integrin – all at once. And of course, no YBF product would be complete without a smattering of the radical scavenger, spin trap, and new favorite, lipochroman-6.
Darrell Owens, the founder of YBF, kindly sent me the new Define to take with me on vacation. I’ll review it after Thanksgiving and I am really looking forward to introducing the special offer we will have for you in our store: A lip cream designed in collaboration with TIA’s VIPs (how cool is that) and a bundle of some of YBF’s finest at a really great price. Watch this space!

Is this a lip plumper also?
Awesome! Can’t wait!
I was one of the testers and I really liked this product. It helped soften the lines around my mouth. I don’t use a separate lip product, but will make an exception for Define. I can’t wait to purchase it!
There seems to be a problem with your link to YBF define. I can’t find it anywhere in your store.
Hi Shan, We are getting Define and some other YBF products up as soon as we can after the holiday weekend. Check back in early next week and I’ll post a notification as soon as it is there.
Define and other YBF products will be in the store by afternoon of 12/2
Just received my Define bundle and I’m really pleased with the final Define product. I was one of the testers and it retained everything I liked initially along with a some great improvements. I laid in bed the first night of application & could feel my lip tissues responding. I love when I can feel a product doing something (what it’s doing I can’t say yet, but it is doing something). I also love that it makes my lips pinker. I’m not a lipstick wearer, so a bit more natural color is WONDERFUL! This will be an indispensable product, if over the long term, it does bring some life back to my lips !
