I wanted to try the Kronos Phyx Overnight Repair Mask, but was put off by the $105 price. I'll now be giving it a try at 50% off ($52). The entire Krono's entire line is 50% off (until supplies last they say) at www.Dermstore.com

I am going to try the Burt's Bees conditioner first. My hair is not color treated (at least not in the past 18 months), but I do have a lot of gray (read; white) coming/already in. Hairdresser has said she thought I did myself. I did, only by way of nature. My point here being that the gray is 'fluffier" than my normal light brown/dark blonde tresses. The hair i gew up with, lay flat in humidity. Now it frizzes, does the fly-away, at the drop of a hat. I've tried many cnoditioners and shampoos, the closest coming anywhere near taming my hair being Garnier Nutrisses for Dry/Damaged Hair, and Herbal Essence Hydrience. I wind up using the after-shower leave-ins that don't always help either.

I should mention that I'm now 51, and used to love brushing my hair many times a day to keep the shine and softness in. I realize age is affecting my hair, but surely there's something I can do as I'm the wash, comb and go type. i rarely blow dry or use the curling on my hair, except for my short frings of bangs.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Junko, that's amazing. I wonder if it is simply because you aren't using harsh chemicals anymore.

In April 09 I started using only the shampoo's and conditioners recommended on TIA. No sulfates, parabens, wax's or silicones. Normally after 4 months, I'd be due for a trim because of split ends. It's AMAZING ** I have barely any split ends right now. I might still be in need of a trim, but it's not because of straggly ends. This is a remarkable change and I attribute it all to the shampoo's and conditioners. I still wash every other day & I still blow dry.

I use the burts bee promegranate and soy conditioner and I absolutely love it. It is very affordable especially since I tend to overdo it with conditioner bc of my long hair.
