Airelle Hydrating Manuka Mask contains manuka honey, an antioxidant rich ingredient that soothes and hydrates the skin. Honey contains enzymes and small amounts of gluconic acid (an AHA) that gently aid in removing dead cells and brightening the complexion. Plus, its hydrating properties give skin a beautiful, dewy appearance. Combined with Airelle's unique anti-aging ingredient Berrimatrix this mask helps to smooth wrinkles and fine lines. I was fortunate to try a sample of Airelle Hydrating Manuka Mask for four weeks. I am in my sixties and have dry skin that tends to get white heads.
I have tried many products for dry skin giving them about two weeks to see if I could notice a difference. I must say that the various products that I did try worked and added moisture to my dry face, but I only noticed a difference when I was applying them when they did make my face feel moist and soft. But when I used the Hydrating Manuka Mask I was in for a pleasant surprise, not only did it keep my face moist and soft as I applied it, but I could actually feel it working. It penetrated into my skin stinging a wee bit and leaving it on for fifteen minutes felt stimulating. I especially like the aroma of this product that to me smelled like flowers.
When examining the ingredients of this mask I noticed the various oils of lavender, flower, and blueberry seed oil which all have a natural pleasing fragrance. The various vitamins B5, C and E are important antioxidants that neutralize the skin which I believe keeps it soft and moist.
I used this product once a week for four weeks and I was amazed at how much of a difference it made to my face. I do admit it did little for the white heads but the rest of my skin has been smooth and almost silky in texture.
The truth is I wish I could have used it every day because it felt so invigorating. I really like the way it makes my face feel even long after it’s applied and washed off. I am very pleased and satisfied with this hydrating mask, I have noticed a difference and I will continue to use it routinely.
