Deciem WhiteRx Activated Serum
by Deciem
Size: 1 oz (30 ml)
Deciem White Rx Activated Serum is a focused product designed for sufferers of hyperpigmentation and discoloration. The concentrated serum targets the appearance of skin pigmentation with fast-acting (short-term) and sustained independently-proven technologies. This lightening treatment is perfect for anyone with skin that has dark spots, sun damage, sallow undertones and dullness. Tested by a Truth In Aging community member for 30 days, it proved to fade spots and visibly brighten skin.
By using technologically advanced peptides and new lightening ingredients, Deciem White Rx was able to omit known irritants like hydroquinone. A handful of powerful peptides, including acetyl glycyl β-alanine peptide and biomimetic speed control tripeptide, are used to inhibit melanin transport while accelerating the lightening process. In addition oxidized reactive glutathione is well-known for is visible depigmenting abilities. When applied twice daily as the first step in treatment regimen after cleansing, radical results can be seen in as little as nine days!
Tested for 30 days and recommended by Beverly C:
I am 55 years old and began experiencing hyperpigmentation on my cheeks, forehead, and neck about two years ago. I’ve had laser treatments and intensive pulse light treatments while also trying different hydroquinone lightening products, all of which have helped minimally. I was very curious to see if Deciem WhiteRx Activated Serum Concentrate ($43) would deliver.
WhiteRX does not contain hydroquinone or mercuric salts, both of which are questionable ingredients in skin lightening. Instead, according to the brand, this serum uses a combination of peptides and biotechnology to even out the skin and boost radiance. Oxidized reactive glutathione is said to diminish existing spots, biomimetic hexanoyl dipeptide reduces the production of melanin to prevent new spots from forming, and a tripeptide promotes skin renewal.
In addition to the spot treatments, this serum is said to deliver long-term luminosity with acetyl glycyl ß-alanine peptide and a cyclic nonapeptide complex. You’ll also find glycolic acid and lactic acid to exfoliate dead and dulling skin cells. Finally, diglucosyl gallic acid is said to be four times more potent than brightening vitamin C. All of the ingrediensts are very impressive.
As directed, I applied the product to clean skin in the morning and before bed. It’s a silky serum that goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly, working as an nice primer for other products and makeup. I should also note that the WhiteRx doesn't really have a smell — and I am particular about smells, so I would have noticed.
After a month of testing, WhiteRX has faded the dark spots on my right cheek and on the bridge of my nose. It aslo helped lighten the color of the melasma on my neck, but it hasn't completely faded the patches. I’m going to continue using this serum to see if there are long-term improvements of my bigger pigmentation problems, but in the meantime, I would recommend it for the treatment of sun spots and dullness.

Apply after cleansing, then follow with other products.
There was no noticeable change in my skin after 6 weeks of use per package directions. I have fair skin with some hyperpigmented areas, which I hoped would improve with this product. The serum has a watery consistency & smells faintly of vinegar (which goes away after application). Unlike the other reviewers, there was absolutely no change in overall skin brightness or the hyperpigmented areas. Certainly hyperpigmentation is difficult to treat, but this product was not effective for me.
Please rush back into stock. Must have as delivers results with no side effects. Product is simply "magic" on age spots and pigment left from acne, and other issues, even scars from well meaning "cat paws" !
Buy 2 at a time so when out of stock you have a spare. Excellent gift idea for anyone who loves clear skin, even the man in your life.
