I love this eyebrow cream!!!. I'm on my second bottle. My eyebrows are pretty full, but I noticed the difference since I started using this product.
Another thing that I love about this product is that it acts like a eyebrow filler. No need to use eyebrow pencil, or eyebrow mascara. The color is perfect, I think it matches all eyebrows tones. I use it in the morning, as part of my face routine. Just a little bit goes a long way. It keeps your eyebrows in place and gives you an extra color, to make it look fuller.

It has taken some time, as is to be expected, but I am finally seeing new hair on my eyebrow area. Yea! I'm going to stick with this and go another round and see if I can fill most of the sparse areas in.

Hi Andrea, as you have been using your free gift of Brow Empower for only a week, you cannot expect to see results. The natural hair growth cycle for the brows can take at least six weeks and so it could be a couple of months before hair starts to noticeably grow. It is fine to apply it just once a day.

This stuff was ok haven't noticed to much going on and i can only wear it at night.

The BEST product ever!!! I am 66 and through excellent skin care (taught by my mother) and good genes.....everyone I meet will guess my age to be at least 10 years younger. I try many products and spare no expense. This product has brought back my eyebrows from 20 years ago. My brows were thinning fast. I purchased this product and within a month tops, my brows have thickened and maintained the color. I rarely, if ever, write a review.....this is worth writing! Best to apply with a double tipped eyebrow brush. First, I paint it on with the slanted tip and then I spool it in pre-moisturizer. I use daily in the am. Last a long time! Pump slowly or a lot will come out and clean the pore of the tube w/the included tool or a safety pin.

I am in my very late 50's. but genetically blessed with good skin. However, for me (despite my friends' compliments), I have many "problem areas". I have 'mixed' skin with oil in my T zone, new single, but occasional deep acne spots on my chin (mostly after I started using Clarisonic cleansing tools about 3 years ago--which I believe just pulled up more sebum and grime that hand-washing was not doing)--I did NOT have acne as a teen. AMONG my more noticeable issues are my eyebrows; I underwent chemo for a year and a half starting in 2010 (fortunately, still in remission) and between the changes likely associated with menopause (surgical) and chemo, both my eyebrows (worse) and my eyelashes took a real hit.

I had great hopes for Truth Vitality Brow Empowerer, I waited almost six weeks to write this review to give it a fair shake. I would actually give it 3 1/2 stars, but 'rounded up' because TIA has so much great scientific and clinical information AND so many other great products.

Pros: I've gone the ENTIRE six weeks without ANY eyebrow maintenance. I'm looking a bit 'shaggy' WHERE I HAVE eyebrow hairs. I started out without almost ANY noticeable eyebrows on the outer ½ of both eyebrows. My eyebrows are also a dark blonde (STILL seen well without any pencil or color), but their lighter color has definitely made the loss MUCH more noticeable. In my six weeks of use, I'd say that if I look closely, I DO finally have a SMALL amount of eyebrow hair that follows my brow line to the outer edges. So, hair growth has been stimulated to a very SMALL extent towards the end of my first container (I probably wasted quite a bit of product---see below). The Brow Empowerer has a light brownish color when applied, so I'm careful to use one finger to lightly outline each brow (I always wear a well-matched brow pencil after my skin care regimen, so the product color does not show.) I apply the Brow Empowerer after cleansing, toning, & applying my Vitamin C --while the Vit C is drying from a slight tackiness--(Mad Hippie in the TIA shop-- for right now--have ordered a different Vit C product to try a different brand for comparison). The brow creme goes on smoothly with some effort to spread it evenly and there is no offensive scent.

Cons: About half way through use of this first container, DESPITE EXTREMELY CAREFUL ATTENTION TO CLEANING OUT THE DISPENSER AREA of the bottle with the metal pin used as a stopper in the dispenser hole, the entire top half of the dispenser bottle simply popped off one day, spilling out a significant amount of the already small amount in the container. I run the metal stopper pin through the dispenser hole several times after application--to prevent clogging--per the instructions I received with the product. I WAS able to re-attach the top back on and have mostly been able to dispense what I use through the correct area. However, the amount dispensed is not always predictable; some days, it seems to dispense much more than others. I've learned to always put the amount I dispense into my non-dominant palm to avoid wasting any product. The dispenser seems to be set up for elective application directly to the brows. I would never do so--it would likely waste a large amount of product.

So, in conclusion: while I've seen a slight increase in my brow growth (I'm about to 'clean up' the new growth--with great trepidation!), I'm somewhat disappointed that I've not had a greater response. However, I've NOT found a product that's done more to stimulate growth in my brows, so I will continue to use Truth Vitality Brow Empowerer. I do hope that despite a great deal of work by Marta to improve the dispenser (from previous reviews), that either a totally different type of dispenser will be developed or more work will be done on the current version.

I would prefer a regular, non-angular container where I can control how much product is dispensed by the pressure I use on a simple pump VS. the current dispenser in two separate parts with a removable pin. The current container comes apart when too much pressure is applied OR more often, when the dispenser area has a clog--despite my efforts to keep dried plugs from forming.

I sincerely hope that with all of the fantastic products coming into the TIA store, we will see more products designed to stimulate eyebrow growth!

I've been faithfully using Truth Vitality Brow Empower with copper peptides for about a month now. I had lovely arched eyebrows when I was younger in my 20's and 30's. Unfortunately, due to a repeated need to be in chemical menopause through most of my child-bearing years, it took it's toll on my hormones. My eyebrows started thinning, especially at the outer edges. I already had very fair hair and my eyebrows did not darken with age, so the very little hair left on the outer ⅔ was almost invisible. THEN, I underwent chemo in 2010 and 2011. Fortunately, I did not lose all of my hair, but my eyelashes and what was left of my eyebrows became VERY scarce. So, unable to risk the use of Latisse to help with my eyelashes, I very occasionally use mascara for a big night out and faithfully apply eyebrow pencil, usually as my only makeup--before I walk out of the door.

I started using this product with probably too much in the way of expectations. I HAVE noticed that the area that was the fullest already--the inner one third....has thickened up a bit. The outer ⅔ MAY have filled in slightly, but I am going to continue using the product because I've seen enough (a few hairs where I had none) change to see what time and continued usage may bring.

Unlike many previous reviews, I've had NO problems with the dispensing system. The thin 'pin' that goes into the dispenser is genius. I assiduously use it to clean out the remaining product before I put the tube away daily. I've found that the product is just darker than my really fair eyebrows, so it is easy to tell that I've smoothed it over my brows completely. I use a tiny bit on my fingers to spread the lotion (I would not call it a cream) carefully over both brows. I apply this product while I am waiting for my Mad Hippie Vitamin C drops to dry!! The consistency is perfect for the eyebrows and it does not seem to have much in the way of a scent. A little goes a long way. I still have high hopes that I will have more growth where I previously had none.

TEA is there is a preservative. But I agree with you. I went along with it in the first place because we use a version without DEA, but when we do the next iteration I'll work with chemist to see what alternatives we can come up. Thank you!

I don't have a concern about Acrylates C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Cross Polymer but I thought Triethanolamine is here because of it, like neutralizer, but maybe is only a ph balancer. Can then citric acid replace it? Without TEA it would be really safe and effective product. :)

This really worked for me, and within 4-5 weeks. My brows have filled in and they are softer. The dispenser has not been a problem. I rinse it, dry it, and replace the cap after every use. The product itself dries quickly and doesn't interfere with brow pencils or powders. Sweet!

Hi PJ, we have come up with a modification for the pump that prevents the product clogging the orifice. These will be available in a few days. In the meantime, thank you for improvising!

I had tried just about every product on the market, so thought I would give this one a try. Diligently applied it each night, but then didn't pay much attention because I was not really expecting any results. Then I happened to notice that I actually had some eyebrows where there had been just empty space before!!! Now this is after years of nothingness and pitiful, embarrassing eyebrows! So, I say this is in the category of a miracle product, even though the applicator falls way short of being what Marta considers "nifty". I just take the top off of the awful applicator and press the product up out of the container with my finger - and I am good!!

2 stars for the dispenser. Jury is still out on the product itself.

I read the reviews about the fussiness of the dispenser, so meticulously cleaned the dispenser hole each time I used the product. After only three-four uses, the pump completely failed and the product leaked out of the base of the top.

I will try to keep using it, but am disappointed and the "over-thinking" of the dispenser.

The product could easily be sold in a simple squeeze tube and swept onto the brows with a fingertip, it dries quickly and would not require daily maintenance of the container.

Hi Susanne, sorry to hear about this. Brow Empower is formulated to dry rapidly in order for makeup to be applied immediately. Consequently, product may dry in the applicator orifice. It will then build up and break the pump when you try to dispense it. This can be avoided by keeping the orifice free of dried product by inserting a toothpick or similar object to clear it.

I have been trying the product now for two weeks and the pump broke. I am not sure so far if its working, But would not buy again because of broken pump.

After using this product I am seeing more fullness in my eyebrows. Not a lot, but they are not thinning either. I have used it every other night only and will continue to use it. It is expensive for the small amount that you get.

After about only a month I have significantly more 'tamed' brows as the hair is not nearly as unruly. The texture is just perfect for the area. Yes the pump is time consuming so I just took off that whole applicator piece and now just gently depress to get product on my fingertip and apply. Works perfect now!

The dispenser is a bit of a pain. The secret is - after you apply the product, use a toothpick to clear the opening. It's not enough to just wipe away the surface product. you need to stick the toothpick into the opening at least half an inch. If you do that , you won't have clogging. Yes, it's inconvenient, but I guess that's the price we pay for it drying quickly so we can apply makeup. .It's too soon for me to say if my eyebrows have improved. I like the way it feels so far.

I have been using another eyebrow strengthening product for over a year. When I first used it, it seemed to help my eyebrows grow to cover a little bald spot on one of my brows. Lately it seemed to have gotten sparse again and since TIA usually provides superior and more natural products I thought I'd give VITALITY BROW EMPOWER a try. I'm so glad I did. The bald spot is covered again and I feel much better using a product I know won't have any "nasties" as the TIA community describes them. I'm purchasing my second tube!

I was so excited to be chosen to test Brow Empower. I wanted to love it, but right now I just like it.

The active ingredient in this product is copper peptides which I hoped would restore my follicles to pre-menopausal health. It also contains Emu oil and Vitamin B-5 as conditioners.
I love the feel of this cream. It glides on silky and absorbs quickly. I usually apply it at bedtime, but have worn it under brow make up as well. I like the little applicator tip (although it does need daily cleaning), but find myself rubbing it in with my fingers anyway.

But to the crux of the matter:
When I was younger I had Brook Shield (OK, maybe Groucho Marx) eyebrows. But now at 58 the outer half is looking sparse and even the inner corners are losing ground.
I was hoping to see my brows respond to this the way my lashes did to Latisse, which was amazing (I didn't suffer any scary side effects, and continue to use it every other day).
I took a pic on day 1, used it diligently, and took a pic on day 30. Sadly I couldn't see a difference, but I persevered. On day 60 I took another pic. Although my brows looked a bit disheveled (which I attributed to a bad grooming day), they didn't look any fuller.
After 2 months I still haven't finished the bottle, so I will use it up and write if I see a difference.

Bottom line? This is a good conditioning and grooming cream. It's worth trying if you want fuller brows. Just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for you.

The application of Truth Vitality Brow Empower instantly gave my black brows a darker, more groomed appearance. The product is easily pumped and applied across the brow using a flared metal applicator tip. The odorless, opaque gel/cream is lightweight, absorbs and dries quickly and transparently. However, I noticed mild buildup on a couple of occasions during cleansing. After four weeks of daily application, I found the product easy to incorporate into my regular routine, and I liked the enhanced look it gave my natural brows.

As the Brow Empower's applicator is a new technology, it does require a little TLC. We advise you always depress the pump very gently, and after use, wipe the metallic tip and the orifice with a soft cloth or a tissue.

I don't know if it is working as yet, only 4 days but after the second day the applicator quit. I couldn't get it to pump any product then the applicator cap broke off. So now I'm using a small eyebrow brush to apply the product. Doesn't seem to be a good design.

I'll check back in when and if I see results.

I am in my 50's and have lost the outer third of my eyebrows. What remains is pitifully scarce. I am also losing my hairline and my dermatologist diagnosed it as frontal fibrosing alopecia. I tried everything, including Brow Vitality Complex, to restore my eyebrows and hairline, but this particular form of alopecia permanently scars the hair follicles and they will not regenerate. I hate the look of drawing on my eyebrows, so after some very careful research I tried permanent makeup--essentially an eyebrow tattoo. I also hate tattoos, so this was doubly frightening, but the woman was an absolute professional and I love the results. I have seen pictures of horror stories, but if you are willing to pay the money (much less than eyebrow implants) and go to someone highly qualified, licensed and certified, I dare say you will be satisfied with the results. I am thrilled. So is my husband!

Brow Vitality Complex is likely a fine product, but if you have a serious underlying medical condition, it will not help.

Well, I've only been using this for a short while but am surprised at what I'm seeing. I was hoping, but really not expecting any hair growth. I did not have very much outer eyebrow remaining - sort of like the outside corners just disappeared (may be thyroid related, not sure). They have been like this for years and I hated having to draw in the outer "tail" of my brows - so fake looking.

This outer part of my missing brow has now started to fill in - I was able to actually trim the area the other day!! I have not noticed a lot of growth in the inner corner or the main body of the brows, but am hoping by the time I finish the bottle that will also have thickened.

This is the second time repurchasing this product and I have used it for about 6 months now, so I figure I can give a pretty fair review of this product.

I would like to say to start by saying that in my teens I used proactive as I was desperate to have clear skin and not only did it dry my skin out, it bleached and thinned out my eyebrows! Finally a few years later they weren't as blonde anymore (I'm a light brunette), but they never grew back in as thick as before. Not only did I have thinner brows I had some botch wax jobs at the salon and over plucked a bit. It was not anything tooooo terrible, but I knew my brows could look so much better.

Anyway on a whim, I decided to try Brow Vitality. I applied it on my brows and also any spots where I would like the brows to grow. And I have to say that this stuff works fast -- all my bare spots were soon full of regrowth! And now after using it most nights (sometimes I don't end up having time to apply or I will alternate between cold-pressed castor oil) they have thicken up and gotten back to their regular colour as well. Technically I can now get away without using any brow powder, though I still like the look of brow powder for when I'm going out. I now use a lighter more natural shade and my brows, and it looks ten times better and way more natural.

All I can say is that I am very happy with the results and I will continue to use brow vitality for upkeep. I does take a while to see the thicken results (though worth the wait) but regrow in sparse spots is almost over night. I feel I should add I have very thin hair naturally, so I'm sure results would be more dramatic for those with thicker hair than mine. Also I noticed that my second time around, you don't have to use as much product, just a little goes a long way.

I like Brow Vitality and found that it works well.

I just have to say one thing...Brow Vitality WORKS! I have been using it for two weeks and i am already seeing such major results. I still have certain areas in both my eyebrows that need more growing but on man this is like the key to getting your brows back. Its all about the copper. At first i was scared cause my eyebrows were shedding more than usual, BUT it's because it's going through the shedding and growth cycle. You have to shed the old hairs to get the new!

By the way i am naturally a harry gal. Growing up i had such thick, i mean thick dark brows. as i got older like all girls do they see girls getting their eyebrows waxed, tweezed, or whatever it way to get them thin. Now thick bushy brows is the way to go! Basically not touching them at all, besides the middle you don't want a unibrow.

Brow Vitality is so worth trying! I have plucked my eyebrows ever since i was 13 and i am 21 now. And they are growing in thick like they were when i was little! I mean it takes time just like the head on your hair takes time to grow. Also to eyebrows take longer they grow much slower than any other hair on your body.

Patients is KEY and with Brow Vitality and with some patients you will see results. I would say use this product for EVER.

Thin and patchy eyebrows run in my family, I have always looked like I only have half an eyebrow because the tail of my eyebrow is so light that you can barely see it. I was recommended this product by the team at Truth in Aging and this is the third week of using the Brow Vitality Complex.

I am happy to report that you can actually see a proper eyebrow now because the other half of my eyebrow is actually visible! Hair is filling in the patchy areas which are less noticeable and overall, my eyebrow looks darker and thicker which I have always thought was impossible. Everyone has been asking me if I have been drawing in my eyebrows! Thank you for this product TIA it has truly performed a miracle on my eyebrows.

I was on an extended far away trip and was - yes, actually - happy to find out that I didn't pack tweezers and had to buy them! This meant that thanks to Brow Vitality Complex, my eyebrows were so improved I needed a trim! Now that I'm back home, I'm going to get very serious and regular with the Hair Vitality Complex and hope for similar strong results.

I am 49 years old and have normal to combination skin. Over the years, my brows have gradually thinned. I hate the way my brows look without using a brow pencil or makeup, but I also dislike the artificial look of “painted-on eyebrows.” Therefore, I was eager to test Brow Vitality Complex. I used it daily for four weeks, generously applying to my brows each evening. The product has very little scent, and I never experienced any breakouts or an allergic reaction. However, after one month of use there was no noticeable increased growth, minus a hair here and there, which is normal for me. I would not purchase this product.

I have fair sensitive skin and am pretty careful when choosing products. I’m also in my 50s and have sparse over-plucked brows (from my teenage years!). As my face has aged, the plucked brows give me a “severe” look with a thin high arch — not quite Cruella De Vil, but you get the picture! I used Brow Vitality daily, in the morning after cleansing and moisturizing. As directed, I applied a thin line and used the applicator tip to gently get the product in to my brows. I found the short applicator slightly awkward to direct and felt that a small brush-type applicator would work better for me, at least to see where the product is going! Maybe that’s my own challenge since I need glasses for close up!

The pale blue-gray gel absorbed well and didn’t feel sticky or leave any residue, which would have been unpleasant for me. My brows felt nicely moisturized and looked healthy as I continued use it. Personally I didn’t see any significant new brow growth in 30 days, which may be related to menopausal/hormonal factors, time elapsed (decades!) since I did all the plucking, or maybe I’m just a slow responder! Whatever the case, I didn’t see a miraculous result like the success stories before me. One thing I did notice was that my shedding was reduced. Despite the lack of new hair growth though, I would recommend this product as a great eyebrow conditioner and nourishing treatment.

After just four weeks of once-daily usage, both brows have shown a 25% to 35% increase in brow hair thickness, and the empty patches in the left brow are now much less noticeable — actually, a few have completely filled back in. I’m happy to report that I have now had to resume plucking after a 15-year hiatus. Even if the product didn’t work to promote hair growth (which it does, and tremendously), the noticeable darkening effect of the gel makes the brows appear thicker and more vibrant. This lent a more youthful appearance to my face. Honestly, the cosmetic effect alone is worth purchasing Brow Vitality Complex.

I've tried other hair growth products on my eyebrows and when the hair grows it is course. With this product, my brows are really silky. This is great. Thanks TIA

After using brow and hair vitality and new growth is seen and felt ( i seem to be alwys feeling with fingertips!) the brow i use nightly and prior used the hair v. on brow and mine have also filled in.

I'm not one to write many reviews. But, I sure do read them prior to buying any product. Now that I am using the BROW VITALITY COMPLEX and IT IS WORKING, I felt I owed TIA my review I received the Brow Vitality Complex on August 25, 2012 and have been using it nightly since. Only 13 applications so far and my almost non-existent brows are miraculously almost filled in. I have never had anything resembling full brows. A bane of my vanity. I've tried every product ever produced. None worked. Until Brow Vitality. Granted, I still don't have what I consider beautifully shaped, soft "model" eyebrows. The new hairs are thick, coarse, and a bit unruly. I am sure part of this is due to age (59). I'm not complaining. I can handle this - a bit of eyebrow gel helps to smooth them down. When you've gone through life with not much to call eyebrows, and then in less than 2 weeks have full ones, I had to write TIA and thank them for their diligence in finding a product that actually works.
