TIA Review by Marta:
Every couple of years, Darrell Owens, the co-founder and chief formulator of Your Best Face, tinkers with the formula for his Correct eye cream. His mission has always been for Correct to be the “be-all and end-all” of eye creams, and these formula tweaks were aimed at keeping it there. For my part, I always found the improvements welcome, but not earth-shattering. However, the latest reformulation of Correct at the end of last year is a game changer. I love the new Correct.

Your Best Face Correct is now an excellent lid lifter, as well as reducer of fine, crepey lines. The lid lifting is, I believe, due in large part to an ingredient called Uplevity. This is actually a newish peptide, tetrapeptide-2. According to Lipotec, which is the company that makes Uplevity, it induces the expression of fibulin 5 and lysyl oxidase-like 1. The latter is a gene that catalyzes the first step in the formation of crosslinks in collagens and elastin. Fibrulin 5 is an extracellular matrix protein. Tetrapeptide-2 regulates the gene expression of talin, zyxin and integrins, which contribute to the improvement of “dermal cohesion.” Or, in other words, it firms and lifts the eyelid skin.

The other key new addition is Matrixyl Synthe’6, a palmitoyl tripeptide-38, which is a peptide produced from derivatives of the amino acids lysine and methione sulfone (the latter is synthetic). Palmitoyl tripeptide-38 is a matrikine-mimetic compound that regulates cell activity, wound repair and collagen tissue remodeling. As the name implies, Matrixyl Synthe’6 stimulates six major constituents of the skin matrix and the dermal-epidermal junction.

Correct has been given a moisturizing boost with cupuacu butter, and the other newbie is the antioxidant quercetin, which also spurs collagen production.

No babies have been thrown out with the bathwater; just about all of the original Correct roster is still present, including Eyeseryl, a peptide that reduces puffiness, and Haloxyl, collagen boosting Matrixyl 3000, wrinkle reducing Tego Pep 4-17 and Renovage. Your Best Face’s signature line up of free radical fighters, including spin trap and Lipochroman-6.

My only little quibble with the new Correct is that it does not absorb quite as easily into the skin as the old version and requires a little more massaging. However, this is a small price to pay for an excellent anti-aging eye cream that is most definitely the be-all and end-all.

Special instructions:
Correct uses an airless pump, technology is that is relatively new and not perfected. Sometimes the pump fails to eject the product, but there are a couple of solutions that usually work. First, try tapping the base of the bottle firmly on a hard surface. Secondly, unbend a paperclip and insert into the tiny hole in the base of the pump.

The only eye cream that consistently helps my slight under-eye sagging, upper eyelids, small wrinkles. It. Just. Works. No, my budget doesn't like it...but my eyes do, so I bite the bullet.

I'd added Define and Correct to my skin2skin routine. Love DEFINE. Correct has been a nice moisturizer, but I didn't have a strong impression of change to the problem of indeed he puffiness and dark inner circles until I added Gross fertulic&retinal underneath or Brad ultra elastin lift. So, I'll try Control for ubdereye next. Overall I'm really liking results of combined skin2skin and YBF.Rescue and slumber blend at night are bringing back glow!

I too developed dermatitis using this eye cream after a few weeks of twice daily use...I could tell it had a lot of potential. Unfortunate about the sensitivity.

I have to agree with Stephanie's review...I, too, used this and developed dermatitis around the eyes and swelling and so discontinued and tried again as she did and still got the same results. Obviously this is not the eye cream for me even with my high hopes and other's good reviews. And so the search continues.

I'm a fickle skin care hobbyist. I rarely stick with something past the second bottle since there are so many choices, and I love to experiment. I had used, and loved, Correct, but was always searching for something as good, but cheaper. In conclusion, I don't think it exists.

I hadn't used Correct for a few years. I turned 50. My skin felt dryer and thinner. The skin around my eyes was losing elasticity. My crows feet were deepening. All the undereye issues were surfacing: cross hatching, puffiness, that bumpy chicken skin.

Correct is expensive, but it is such an effective product. It is moisturizing and nourishing. The effects are long-lived. It must be packed with a high concentration of actives, because it actually makes a difference.

I could feel a tightening after one application. After a few weeks, the skin around my eyes was firmer and smoother and softer. The wrinkles were shallower and the bumpy skin minimal. After two months, I don't need to use it twice a day to maintain these results.

Skin care is an investment, and can seem frivolous, particularly when you don't see any actual results. I don't feel guilty buying this. So little is needed for each application, the tube will last for a long time. And there is truly "repair", so you can supplement or alternate with something cheaper without losing ground.

Of course there's a But - this is only a topical, over-the-counter cream. It will not return you to the smooth, tight eyelids of your 20's. Anything that would, would probably be toxic, or surgery! Aging happens (put that on a t-shirt!), YBF Correct (and all the products I've tried from this line), helps you ease in to it gracefully.

Correct is an amazing eye cream. I am seeing definite improvements in my undereye dryness, wrinkles, and shadows. I think I may even be seeing less sagging of my upper lids. I'm on my second bottle, so I am hoping that more evident improvement will still come in that area of concern. Because of its superstar list of ingredients, Correct is expensive. I try to stretch its use by pairing it with YBF's less costly but very good Refresh or with SkinOwl Eye+. This is working for me.

    Hi Jen!!
I just saw your question and to answer -- indeed, both Control and Correct can be used around the entire eye area including the lids. In fact, when Correct's formula was updated last year the ingredients and texture were intentional so that the product would be slowly massaged in around the entire eye area.

So -- enjoy and as always, thank you!

Much to my chagrin, I started noticing the dreaded eye lid droop several months ago & immediately started researching eye-lift procedures, knowing full well that I would likely never have it done, unless my vision was impacted. I took the plunge & purchased CONTROL & am now on my 2nd or 3rd bottle. It probably took the 2nd bottle before seeing a more pronounced difference, so be patient! As with DEFINE, a little dab goes a long way, so each bottle has lasted 3 months for me. I do have a question though...is it safe to put on the actual eyelid? I have only been applying it under, over & above the brow line, as well as around the lower eye area. I'm hooked on this product!

I've been plagued with bags under my eyes for about seven to eight years, despite cutting back on my work hours, drinking 3-4 liters of water a day, and getting plenty of rest and sleep. After trying multiple eye cremes and serums, both from TIA and other sources, I decided to take this expensive plunge. I received a free trial foil pack of the YBF Correct (eye cream) and starting using it almost immediately. I was also given trials of YBF's Restore, Slumber Blend Oil, and their Uplift Toner Mist. I'd been looking for a good night regimen, particularly to avoid waking up with such puffy eyes.

Before spending so much on this complete 'package', I emailed Darrell Owens, the co-founder and chief formulator of Your Best Face..SEVERAL times. He could not have been more quick to answer, patient with my MANY questions, and more knowledgeable about what products might work for me. In fact, since I had great worry about spending so much on what seemed like 4 great products, he made recommendations about which one(s) he felt might help the most. In the end, I bought all four of these products.

The YBF Correct (eye cream) HAS helped the bags under my eyes tremendously. Now, when I cleanse and apply my morning skin care, I'm not looking at the enormity of my eye puffiness and yes, also the dark circles (less of a problem). The product is a bit difficult to spread, but a little goes a long way. I use it all over my eyelids up to my brow line, as well as under my eyes out to the top of my cheekbones. I also use it around and on my lips. I started using Sciote Vitamin C Eye Treatment UNDER the YBF Correct and found that not only were the 'eye bags' less, but that the YBF Correct (eye cream) went on more smoothly.

I know that I was hoping for the impossible: NO EYE BAGS! But, I can see a remarkable difference after only a few weeks of use. The cream is smooth, my eye area seems to literally drink it up (and I keep my entire face well hydrated), and it has no offensive scent.

Thank you Darrell and Marta for introducing this product to TIA!

Hi Anne and thank you for the kind words!

I just wanted to pipe in here about the almond aroma, that is indeed from the spin trap antioxidant I use in Correct and other products but it does not have any connection to almonds or almond oil.

I just thought I would bring that up as one of my best friends is allergic to anything produced from stone fruits (and as such she is allergic to almond oil) and so I don't actually use almond oil in Correct or any products in my line.

Quite often though for the history of my line I see connections made about the aroma of spin trap in my products to almond oil or marzipan but I'm happy to report that's just the spin trap there at work! :-)

I hope you continue to have a great experience.
All my best and many thanks!

Love it! It has only been 2 weeks but I can really a change in my puffy-when- I-wake-up under eyes. I am willing to hold my breath (smells like old lady Jergens Lotion) and does not penetrate the skin well. The customer service provided by the YBF founder is amazing. He answered questions and explained the smell is not fragrance but due to the almond oil in the formula and he intentionally did not want it to soak in quickly to require more massage.
I'll check back In a month but it is already clearly effective.

This eye cream has been a game changer for me. Luckily, I have not experienced a pump malfunction with this (or with any of the YBF products). I use this at night and the AQ eye serum in the morning, as well as recently adding in the SkinOwl eye cream for added moisture (which has made a huge difference). My eyelids started out extremely crepey and droopy to the point where they were touching my eyelashes. I've gone through 2 bottles of this, and noticed a difference within a few weeks of starting it. A little goes a long way and for me, I've had no trouble with pilling or absorption.

I have been using this product at night for a little more than a month. I find that it works about as well as my previous favorite, Expurtise eye serum, but it is more than twice as expensive. I also have the pump problem, which is another ding against this product. It does keep my eyelids from looking saggy and my under-eye creases look less pronounced, so I don't have any complaints about the effectiveness.

I love the feel of the product, and it does a great job of hydrating without being sticky. However, with my last order, I am having the same pump problems as others here - ordered 2 bottles in October that I am finishing now. I have to remove the cap to get product out. I've tried the fixes (banging / paper clip) below but they only work temporarily. Hoping this is fixed in the newest iteration!

Hi Linda -- thank you and absolutely I'm here listening and continuing to make improvements.

The latest round of improvements (implemented here as we head into 2016) take another step forward with some enhancements to the existing formula as well as some improved internal mechanics of the pump. These latest improvements will help Correct and our lip cream, Define dispense better (and the product is improved now too).

Thank you for your patience and continued interest.
All my best to you in 2016.

I love this product! However, after using it for 2 years now, I have come across the pump problem that has been brought up in previous reviews. If anyone with the company is listening - please fix the pump issue. If I am spending $150, this problem should not exist. Our product loyalty will only go so far.

    Hi DJ,

If your pump is not functioning properly and the remaining product won’t come out, there are 2 things you can try:

    1. Try turning the product upside down with the cap on and then banging it against a wash cloth-covered hard surface. While still upside down, remove the cap and try pumping a few times to see if the product begins to flow.

    2. Alternatively, you can take a paper clip and insert the wire in the hole in the bottom, then apply pressure there as you pump the bottle. This will usually unstick the bottom. If this still doesn't help, please let us know and we can investigate this issue further.

I have made a little video to show these tip. Go to the video tab on this page and then scroll to the video at the end. I hope this helps!

Marta and TIA first introduced me to ybf Correct around 2009. It was the first super effective eye product I had experienced since entering my 50's and starting to need the heavy hitters. I'm in my 60's now and still love Correct! (and many other ybf products). It keeps getting better over time.

I'm updating my November 19th review to five stars. I give 5 stars for YBF Correct and the way it has helped the texture of the skin around my eyes and if I could, I'd give 6 stars for TIA's and YBF's customer service. Preksha emailed me immediately and contacted YBF on my behalf, to let them know of my dispenser problem. She kept in touch with me, even on Thanksgiving! The next day, I received a brand new replacement, with some "extras" and a personalized note from Darrell from YBF apologizing for the container problem. You can't get better than that. I am amazed and appreciative for the efficiency of resolving my problem. Everything was handled so graciously. A big thank you for caring for your customers and making us feel valued and standing by your products. BTW, the new pump works great!

I absolutely love the product. I've used the product when it first was introduced at TIA and now with the new formula. It is a great product, however, the pump is very discouraging. When I first received it, the amount of product was difficult to control when pushing down. One pump was too much and squirted every where. When I tried to push it half way down, to dispense the amount of product I needed (lentil size), it was impossible. For the price of this, it is too wasteful. Then after a month or so, the top of the pump fell off. I tried to put it back on and again, product was wasted when trying to connect it. When I would try to press the pump, it would fall off again.. Dried product would be inside of the cap when I uncapped it. I feel that so much product was wasted because of the poor design of the dispenser. I've used plenty of other airless pumps with no problems. Now, the cap cannot be put back on. I have to unscrew the top to use it, which defeats the purpose of the pump. Please help!

This was a great eye cream (and I really loved the smell) but on my third tube (that's how much I loved it!) I developed an allergic reaction with dermatitis and swelling around my eyes. I tried to reintroduce the product at a later date once the skin around my eyes had recovered but it had the same effect, shame as it was a great eye cream in terms of moisturizing and firming the eye area!

I actually quite like Correct. It's a nice texture: not too thick or too thin or too sticky. It doesn't bother my eyes, and my eyes are very sensitive (e.g. I couldn't use E'shee's Gene Therapy Eye Cream). And it seems to do a good job of helping with my fine lines, as well as lifting. BUT, and it's a big but, I also experience the yellowing effect that has been mentioned by others. I have been using it twice a day, morning and night, and I use only a very small amount (just a partial pump). I'm careful to massage it in well. But I have had at least 4 four people say to me, on different occasions and different days, "What's wrong with your eyes? They look yellow." Hmmm...not quite the effect I was hoping for! And who knows how many other people notice but aren't good enough friends to say anything?? So now I'm only using it at night. Maybe it's only particular skin tones that get this problem? But in any event, for me, it's a fairly significant and disappointing problem for quite an expensive product.

This product did nothing for me either, I'm glad I had a sample with an order that I had placed. I used it religiously for 8 weeks, sample was decent size and you didn't need to use much and I used it twice a day. I've tried AQ also with no results. Why is it that some people get great results and others get non?? I'm so disappointed, I wish I could find something that works. I have loose crepey skin under my eyes and have been using good eye creams for years. I need a miracle.

    Hi Maureen,
Thank you for sharing this and I might be able to offer some tips to offer a better experience with the new Correct.

The formula update to Correct has resulted in our most concentrated iteration. As such it only requires the smallest amount of product be used for an application. Too much product applied at once or if it is not fully massaged in will indeed result in excess remaining on the skin -- and because of the natural color from ingredients we use, this would explain the color you noticed.

The temporary coloration you described is most likely from the quercetin contained in Correct. If you are seeing coloration from this, I would suggest a much smaller dose per application and give a little extra time massaging in Correct. Under normal circumstances, a small dose of Correct combined with time needed to fully massage in the product should not result in the discoloration you experienced.

I hope this helps Maureen and that you'll give these tips a try and that the experience you have with Correct moves from two stars to five!

    All my best,
Darrell from Your Best Face Skincare

I began using Correct in December 2014. I needed a good eye cream and everyone seemed hyped on Correct. It's fine, and my skin is soft and moisturized from it. But, I do have a significant problem with it: I awake with yellow skin where the eye cream has been applied! I don't dare wear it during the day because of seriously yellow/tan circles. To be clear, the discoloration comes off easily when I cleanse my skin. It doesn't "stain" my skin. The color that comes out of the dispenser is the color it makes my skin! Not attractive at all. So, while I'm happy with the feel of the cream, it's impossible to be happy dancing around the effects of it!

    Hi Elizabeth,
I just read your comment and wanted to reach out to you.

The experience you described seems to align with the former formula of Correct; whereas the updated formula is no longer a thick and heavy cream, but rather a lighter & flowing texture that works better with the container.

I would like you to experience the improved difference in texture, feel and performance Elizabeth, which has been greatly enhanced and improved upon as a direct result of continued feedback from Truth In Aging readers.

Please write to me Elizabeth at Darrell.Owens(at)ybf-Skincare.com and I would enjoy sending you a sample of the new Correct. I believe the new formula will impress you and be a joy to use.

All my best and I hope to hear from you,

I gave this product a good try but it failed me in both results and packaging. The eye cream didn't show any positive changes in my under eye circles. It felt tacky and heavy compared to other eye creams I have used. The eye cream did offer a hydrating benefit so that is one area that pleased me. The packaging was awful. The pump failed to work after a couple of weeks. The cream was so thick that I had to scoop it out with a cosmetic spatula or Q-tip. In the question of value to product price; it failed miserably when considering the lack of benefits received and the difficulty of using the pump. Sadly, it was expensive to not be able to use properly.

    Hi Kate,
We're thrilled you enjoyed Correct so much. I just wanted to clarify that the Your Best Face Correct size has never changed from its launch. It has always been available in an 0.5oz / 15ml pump -- never 1.0 oz /30ml.

I love this product. I have been using it for a couple of years. However I just repurchased it and now for the same price -$150 - I received a container that was 1/2 the size! - .05 oz instead of 1 oz. That means it has doubled in price!!! Unfortunately I will not be buying this again. I can understand if a product is 10 or even 20% more expensive over time but I feel like this was a way of tricking the consumer.

I have used eye creams for years and never noticed much of a difference between one brand and another. YBF Correct is the first eye cream I've used that has made a noticeable difference in reducing dark circles and fine lines. It's expensive, but definitely worth it.

My eyes: 29 yo, dark circles, puffy, some fine lines. self conscious of dark circles.

I have sampled some of TIA's favorite eye creams including the LOL skinfinite serum -liked it, AQ solutions - meh, Nutra-lift eye serum -hydrating. All of these favored eye creams had some pros and cons but overall left me wanting more results. I am pretty preoccupied with my under eye circles and really wanted to find a cream that works but was hesitant to splurge. My only regret is not trying this product sooner. It is the only eye cream I have ever liked and noticed real results from! I am noticing brighter smoother, lighter, firmer skin around my eyes.

    Hi Heidi,
I am sorry you were disappointed in Correct. We pride ourselves on using the very best and most concentrated levels of active ingredients available in an eye cream.

Though we know not every product works for everyone, it is a BIG let down for me personally when someone is disappointed in a product I've made; especially since Correct has been a staple to many for almost a decade.

I use feedback like yours to make our products better. We're always working to improve upon our existing formulas as well as create new ones that are enjoyable to use. The feedback you've shared is valuable as part of our growth and in instances like this I'm always seeking to understand more about why something didn't work as expected.

Product texture (in addition to actives) is very important to me and because we've made quite a few improvements to the texture of Correct over the last three years it was especially surprising that you found Correct to not smooth on gently. That's an area we'll continue to focus improvements upon.

I welcome more insights from you directly Heidi and if you're interested in sharing what eye creams you've tried that did provide the texture and results you expected -- I would love to know what those are and take a closer look at what you've found to be the best of the best.

Thank you and all my best. Please always feel free to email me directly at [email protected]

Did not like product, made my eyes puffier with dark circles. When product comes out of dispenser comes out too thick and does not smooth on gently under eye, would not recommend, is not worth the price, I was very disappointed and I can't get a refund for product.

    Hi Amy,
I saw your post from yesterday (Feb 3rd) and appreciate reading what you've said. Throughout every formula update to Correct, we have made and will continue to improve how it works with the airless pump system.

Alternatives that would be a quick fix are to trade-off actives for fillers that thin the product, or switch to another container type that might call for harsh preservatives. We would rather go neither of those routes.

Each update to Correct's formula really has seen a reduction in pump problems, but we want the pump performance to 100% perfection -- we will get there.

Thank you for sticking with us!

I really do love this eye cream and have purchased it several times, but am always torn over the decision to repurchase. The pump has failed every time and I end up opening the bottle to dig out a lot of remaining product. I would imagine the idea of being "airless" is defeated by my having to use a bobby pin to fish out the product every night. I have used many airless pumps before that work just fine and this concept does not seem to be any kind of "new technology" to me. For $150 I expect the delivery mechanism to work properly every time and not require "special instructions" for use. I appreciate the fact that it's a great product but I'm a little disappointed that TIA keeps pushing people to spend that kind of money when the delivery is so poor. Just my two cents, and I will keep reading up on the product in the hopes that the design flaw will be fixed.

I have been using for just over a month now and swear my eyes look worse than when I started. The cream is too heavy for me as I end up looking like a raccoon by the end of the day. I will keep using but at night and hope for the same benefits everyone else raves about.

I'm wild about YBF's Correct eye cream. I've tried tons of expensive (and inexpensive) eye creams and Correct is the only one that showed a noticeable effect overnight. By the next morning, my under eye area was clearly brighter, much to my relief.

    Well worth the 150$.

I was first turned on to this product back in TIA 1.0 days, which must be going on four years, I think. I travel a lot--I've spent about 30 months of these past four years in China--and I'm also quite cheap, so my use of YBF Correct is pretty sporadic. I'd say I apply it about an average of five times a week. I'm also in grad school, which does terrible things to one's appearance even among the most placid and well-adjusted of students and I'm prone to anxiety attacks and suffer from insomnia. I'm also in the sun-at 9,000 feet above sea level--regularly. I have terrible skin that's acne prone and consequently is the target of terrible picking attacks that have left me with scars, enormous pores and permanent red spots, but my eyes look great. Sleepless nights and stress have left me somewhat hollow-eyed, which no cosmetic cream can fix, but I have no wrinkles and the skin around my eyes is quite firm. I credit this to two habits: religious use of sun screen (mineral-only, preferably Keys RX with nano-zinc) and rather lazy application of YBF Correct. I'm 32 now, but there's been almost no change in the texture of the skin around my eyes since I started using Correct at 27. Other than the sunscreen, I have never encountered a product that was so noticeably effective. I also use it use it between my brows and around my mouth, and I will say that I have no wrinkles in those areas, either.

There really is not much that surgery can do to "fix" aging around the eyes, other than fillers for crow's feet and trimming off extremely excessive folds above or below the eyes. As such, prevention is pretty much the only defense. I'd recommend women in their mid-twenties to start using a good eye cream now and, frankly, I think ost products out there are absolutely worthless. I see from many of the reviews on this site that Correct doesn't work for everyone, but I'm a pessimist at heart and also cheap with money and quite lazy, but I've had enough experience with YBF Correct to know that it does wonders for me. I'd highly recommend forking over the hefty sum of 150$ to try it out because on the off chance that it does work for you, you'll be truly grateful by the time you're in your mid-thirties and not having to stare at sagging, puffy eyelids or a mess of wrinkles in the mirror everyday. Also: sun glasses and good sunscreen! Apply it throughout the day. And fo god's sake, it you get blackheads or whatever, don't pick! I think I'd easily look ten years younger without the terrible damage I've done to my pores because I haven't figured out how to manage my anxiety in non self-destructive ways.

I've been using this eye cream for over a year now, and whenever I've taken short breaks from it (about a week or so in length) and used a different product, I could definately see just how much this little bottle does do for me! I haven't found another product that can measure up to YBF Correct, let alone beat it.

Correct has been my one stand-by product in the last two years. I may have deviated with other products, but not this one -- I use it everyday -- and I give it the credit for keeping my eyelids lifted and no under eye bags, when these issues definitely run in my family.

This is a great product, and one I hope to never be without!

Used this twice daily until the bottle was empty and saw no difference, whatsoever.

In the daytime, I use it over my SkinCeuticals CE plus Ferulic and then would apply sunscreen.

At night would apply over my skII pitera concentrate.

I'm 38 with medium olive skin and some mild sun mild wrinkling around my eyes. I was so let down by this product given all the great reviews. I can honestly say I have NO idea as to what the hype is about.

I'm still on the hunt for an amazing eye cream that helps with under eye crinkles. Argh!

Although I have tested many other eye creams, I always go back to Correct as it has reliably and consistently solved all of my under-eye problems. In my view, YBF’s Correct is the best eye cream on the planet – which is why I was more than a little alarmed to find out that my beloved eye cream was being reformulated. I’ve had some poor experiences in the past with reformulated products. The new version of Correct excludes certain ingredients like idebenone and snap-8. However, he added in ingredients like pentavitin, an excellent emollient that’s 100% safe according to the EWG (how rare is that?). Thus the improved version of Correct largely excludes potential skin irritants and is much more hydrating – all due to feedback he had received from the TIA community. Co-enzyme Q10 replaces idebenone, which is a bit notorious for causing contact dermatitis. There is also alpha bisbolol, a derivative of M. chamomilla (German chamomile), which accelerates the healing process of skin and protects the skin from the effects of daily stress. Lastly, YBF Correct is now paraben-free as it uses leucidal, a natural preservative based on radish root.

I’m delighted to report that the new Correct is indeed superior to the old formulation (who knew it was possible?).

I'm really sad to say that neither the old Correct nor the new one has done a thing for me -- and besides the smell (which is delicious), I would have to say that actually affirmatively dislike this product. With all the great reviews, I almost feel guilty for saying that! I was excited to try the reformulated product after having disappointing results the first time around, but to no avail. The formula is not moisturizing enough -- which I could definitely forgive if I saw noticeable improvement in my crows feet and fine lines...but I didn't. I'm off to try AQ and perhaps revert back to Reluma (which I've had mixed results from...but haven't given up on). I would even recommend YBF Nourish over this -- for both results (which doesn't seem to make sense) and the price tag :)

The first time I applied the eye cream, I looked in the mirror about 20 to 30 minutes later and was surprised to see that my eyes already looked noticeably lifted – but my internal skeptic said it was wishful thinking. Then, over the next week, I caught myself in a mirror several times (not intentionally gazing to see how I looked or examining to see if the product had made any difference) and thought, “Wow, my eyes look really lifted – and younger!” And then I remembered the Correct. That, to me, was real proof that this product had a definite effect on how lifted, taut and more youthful my eyes looked.

Then after about 30 to 40 days of use I noticed – again, unintentionally – that I was using less concealer under my eyes. And, for the first time in many, many years, my eye circles were almost nonexistent with a fully made-up face. I was kind of shocked!

I haven’t seen a difference in my crow’s feet, but they are, thankfully, still fairly fine. Perhaps with continued use, they’ll stay that way. I am convinced that it really, really does work!

I was lucky enough to get to try the new formulation of my already favorite eye cream YBF Correct. I’ve been using it for about a month, morning and night. And I love it. But I loved it before. So what is different? Well, it is subtle, but now I actually feel it doing the tightening my 60-year-old eyes need… I actually feel it going to work in a way the old formula didn’t manifest. It’s not a radical thing, but when I look in the mirror after a few minutes, I have none of the puffy-bag deal going that usually greets me in the morning if I don’t use the cream. I did switch back to the old formula a couple of times to see if I was imagining it… but it was palpable, the “lift,” and visible. What’s not to like about that? So I can report that, for me, anyway, the new Correct is an even better version of the old.

I was thrilled to be able to try the newly formulated Correct because my eyes reacted poorly to an ingredient in the old YBF Correct formula (Idebenone is now removed). My 60-year-old eyes needed some serious help to improve the elasticity and crepey skin situation.

Very impressed with the ingredients in this cream, I began using Correct on my upper and lower lids twice a day for four weeks. It left a matte appearance, but to the touch, the skin was very moist and I found this moisturization lasted throughout the day.

Sadly for me at the end of four weeks, there was no visible improvement to my under-eye elasticity or reduction in the crepey-ness. It’s possible that my eyes might need a much longer period of time with Correct in order to see some positive change. From reading results of other users, it appears that some have been fortunate to realize significant improvement, and sooner.

Hi Marta - a bottle of the revamped YBF Correct is winging its way to me and I'm wondering whether/how it will work with the AQ Skin Solutions Eye Serum that I've been using for the past few weeks. Should I use them together? (Expensive eyes huh!) Or am I just doubling up and should therefore hold off using it until the AQ is empty? And do you need an eye moisturiser after use or is the new formula rich enough for older eyes on its own?

I've used so many eye creams and was skeptical when using this one.
This is by far the best eye cream I have ever used. It's the only one that really showed a difference in terms of wrinkles under the eyes.
What was even more amazing is the fact it showed after the first day of using.

    Hi Pam
Your bottle of Correct is not empty. It uses an airless pump and the technology is relatively new and not perfected. Sometimes the pump does not work correctly, but there are a couple of solutions that usually work. First, try tapping the base of the bottle firmly on a hard surface. Secondly, unbend a paperclip and insert into the tiny hole in the base of the pump.

I have applied YBF Correct faithfully twice a day for a month now under my eyes as well as above them. The pale yellow gel-like lotion absorbs very quickly, making it easy to follow with makeup immediately. The texture of my skin after is slightly tacky but only for a few minutes. I would have preferred a more moisturized feeling for a longer period of time, especially now that it’s cold. I had no irritation whatsoever. YBF Correct also played well with my other products. Correct has a long and impressive list of ingredients. I don’t know enough to go into detail, but from the past few months of reading Truth In Aging, I recognize many as heavy hitters (Matrixyl 3000, idebenone, alpha lipoic acid) along with a number of natural substances, including licorice root extract listed close to the top.

So very disappointed in this eye cream. Had never heard of the product until I found the TIA site, Marta’s recommendation, and a slew of positive comments. Bought this pricey cream, used it for a week and could practically see the fine lines forming day by day. Was not moisturizing. My eyes felt dry and scratchy and makeup under my eyes looked cakey. Stopped after a week because I didn’t want to cause damage that might not be reversible. Waste of money for me.

*BEST eye cream I’ve ever tried! (And that’s saying a lot because I’ve tried everything!)
If you have dark circles, you will LOVE this eye cream. It works miracles. It is expensive and I live in Canada so got dinged twice with shipping charges, and another $30 in duty tax. But in my opinion, it’s well worth it. Marta recommended this and I took a leap of faith with the considerable price tag but I’m very happy. As she says, it works wonders on fine lines and crow’s feet and really firms.

I have to tell you a little story about my 60-something mom and Correct. She was in town visiting me recently and was bemoaning the bags under her eyes. Being a good daughter, I offered her a sample of Correct I was saving — but only if she promised to really use it. Two days later, her bags and circles were almost gone! We were rather shocked at the dramatic change, but her eyes just kept getting better over the week! She was so excited that we jumped onto the TIA site and ordered her a full-sized Correct. I've been using Correct off and on since TIA wrote it up a few years ago--and there's probably no single product that is mentioned as often (and as enthusiastically) on the site. It is absolutely unbeatable especially for dark circles and for overall improvement of the eye area--just the best.

I have used Correct for a bout a year now and am satisfied enough to keep using it. I also find it has banished my dark circles but the main reason I use it is that a year ago I noticed by upper lids were starting to sag, producing one very noticeable extra fold over my left eye. After maybe four months of Correct, the wrinkle disappeared--I presume because the skin firmed up.

In truth, the changes are very small and possibly not all that noticable--except for that wrinkle, but I continue to justify the expense. A typical tube lasts about 4 months for me.

Age 61 Moderate face wrinkles, Normal skin
I've been useing YBF Correct for 2 months now. There is a definite improvement on the dark circles under my eyes and puffiness. Nothing before has worked on my dark circles. I am on my second bottle because of that success. I have not noticed any change in the tightening above the eyes and would not recommend it for that. The deeper crows feet are not as apparent now but no 'miracle cure' in the wrinkle department. When my first bottle ran out I pulled off the top/lid and there was at least 2 more weeks use left in it.(Twice a day) At the cost you should make sure you can use every last drop!
