BRAD Biophotonic Sea Minerals Purify Healing Detoxifying Gel Cleanser is infused with a highly powerful sea minerals bio-ferment blend that works to restore the essential nutrients and elements to the skin. It makes sense then that some users think of this as more of a treatment than just an ordinary cleanser.

TIA Review by Denise :
I love trying new cleansers and the ingredient list alone for BRAD Biophotonic Skincare's Sea Minerals Purify Cleanser suggested this one might be a winner. A quick look on the BRAD website shows that Sea Minerals Purify is one of two cleansers that BRAD offers. As luck would have it, Sea Minerals Purify seems to be more geared towards sensitive skin types like me, with a focus on detoxifying and healing properties. Along with addressing the usual aging issues of wrinkles, dullness and dryness, the cleanser promises to improve discoloration, renew blemished or rough skin, and repair scarring. That's a lot to promise, but after switching to Sea Purify for four weeks I find myself waking up to glowing, refreshed skin every day. In fact, I've come to think of Sea Minerals Purify as more of a treatment than just a cleanser.
The cleanser comes in a 3.4 oz. bottle with an easy to use pump top. The gel cleanser is clear with a barely noticeable scent. Since the pump dispenses a small amount of product, I generally use two pumps on heavy make-up days, one if my face is basically clean. If you like more lather, use two pumps. Just be careful, this cleanser will sting if it gets in your eyes. I don't wear a ton of makeup, but I wear enough that I like a cleanser that works without stripping my skin bare. Sea Purify has a mild lathering action and washes cleanly away. Unlike with other cleansers, I don't find myself reaching for the moisturizer right away. I could probably skip it entirely, but I like the antioxidants and need the sunscreen!
Everything from the gel cleanser to the packaging speaks to high quality with this brand. Artfully packaged in "self-stimulating miron violet glass," the impressive bottle gives the sense that this skincare is serious science. There's even a quirky, three-quarters cap on the pump that appears to save packaging and makes you think every little detail in this line has been thought through. In fact, the ingredient list reads more like a nice serum than a cleanser. The first ingredient is BRAD's signature Biophotonic Organic Herbal Bio-Infusion, along with a slew of moisturizing oils, a multi amino acid blend and Sea Minerals Bio-Ferment Blend, a key BRAD ingredient.
I'm not sure I understand all the special characteristics of the Bio-Ferment Blend or exactly how the Biophotonics of the miron glass affect the ingredients, but I'm not arguing with results. This cleanser caused no irritation whatsoever and somehow managed to leave my skin perfectly balanced and refreshed. My skin is brighter, more even toned and perfectly hydrated since I started using Sea Minerals Purify. It has been a pleasure to use. So, if you are looking for a first-rate cleanser and an affordable introduction to an exciting skincare line, BRAD Sea Minerals Purify ranks at the top of my list.

Let me start out by saying I usually have very low expectations for cleansers. I've tried many and usually end up with the same result: squeaky clean skin that's stripped of all natural oils. Somehow BRAD Biophotonic Sea Minerals Purify manages to cleanse my skin and leaves it soft but not overly dry . I've also noticed an evenness to my overall skin tone which is usually red, irritated and acne-prone.
The cleanser itself is a clear gel that turns into a rich lather. I can't comment on its ability to remove make up as I don't wear any but I did notice a very significant reduction in blackheads and whiteheads in the short time that I've been using it. I've struggled with acne since I was a young teen and now that I'm just entering my 30's I'm looking for products that will help heal the past damage and prevent the different types of adult acne I now have. Since this cleanser promises to not only take care of some of the anti-aging concerns that I have (fine lines, dullness, dryness) and heal my past acne damage, I thought it might be too good to be true, but I've been very pleasantly surprised.
It is a little pricey for a cleanser, so I've been using it sparingly (about 3 pumps) which still seems to do an excellent job getting rid of excess oil. I hope as I continue to use the cleanser that I'll notice even more improvement in my overall skin tone and texture. In short, this cleanser has exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be looking for more products by BRAD that fit my skincare needs.

I've been using the Brad Sea Minerals cleanser for about three weeks now and am quite enjoying it. If it weren't for the relatively high price (for a cleanser) and the plastic box in which it is packaged, I would give it five stars. I did buy it on a 20% discount offer through the TIA store, which is what prompted me to give it a try, though at 3.4 oz it's still fairly pricey.
Compared to other gel cleansers I've used (i.e. Dermalogica and Yonka, which were both too soapy feeling and drying) I find the Brad far superior. My skin is aging and mainly dry with a bit of t-zone oiliness, and prone to milia, which has made me adverse to cleansing creams and milks (i.e. Nutra-Lift, which was actually more drying and Yonka, which felt greasy).
I use about seven pumps of the gel, enough to make about a one inch diameter dollop in my hand. It has a mild citrus fragrance with an orange base that I find pleasant and relaxing. The gel foams up nicely with just wet hands and skin and provides a soft lather without feeling soapy. Since I want to give my skin as much benefit of the MSM as possible, I massage the cleanser onto my face, neck and decollete for a couple of minutes. Though I am not a frequent wearer of makeup, It is effective at removing my makeup when I do, with the exception of all traces of mascara. The cleanser rinses off easily and leaves no tight feeling to my skin. The noticeable benefit I find when using this cleanser is how soft and smooth my skin feels afterwards. I use this at night, and even the next day my skin continues to feel soft and smooth.
At this point I like this cleanser enough that I will probably buy it again as it leaves my skin feeling clean, supple and soft.
