I have been using Expürtise Effective Anti-Aging Eye Serum for a month and am as impressed by the results as I was when I first perused the ingredients list. I am using it day and night (and can thankfully report no puffy eyes or crusty eyelashes – as can be the unhappy result with some eye serums) on lids and the entire peri-orbital area. What I can say is that my eye area skin skin feels and looks smooth and my eyelids are so lifted that I have a wide-eyed innocent look (well, not really, but I couldn’t resist the thought). Truly, though, my lids are firm with no creases.
Now, to be clear, I’ve been using some of the greats mentioned at the start of this review for some time. And so I’m not saying that I have witnessed a transformation. But what I have seen – and this is a very rare experience – is that Expürtise is easily keeping up the good work.
I do not suffer from dark under circles, but given that the skin brighteners - licorice and bearberry extract – are amongst the top ingredients, I imagine Expürtise Effective Anti-Aging Eye Serum could be helpful. What I really like is they share the top spot with palmitoyl tripeptide-5, a newish peptide that activates an epidermal growth factor (TGF-beta) that stimulates collagen in the skin. This is followed by peptides: Matrixyl 3000 and the newest in the Matrixyl dynasty, Synthe’ 6, which is supposed to stimulate collagen and five other components of the skin matrix.
Antioxidants include CoQ10, which helps to neutralize free radicals, and a slew of vitamins including vitamin A and, unusually, vitamin K. This ingredient is known as phytonadione and is credited with helping to fade dark circles. So too is anti-inflammatory chrysin.
Botanical extracts are certified organic and include passionflow (a source of the above mentioned chrysin), cranberry, gotu kola and mangosteen. One that is worth a shout out is Globularia Cordifolia Callus Culture. This is a high-altitude living daisy that is used by the makers of Matrixyl in an ingredient they call Resistem and has an enzyme that contributes to the longevity of cells.
Finally, there is nothing nasty – even the preservative is radish root ferment.

EXCELLENT. I was at Neiman Marcus perusing SK-II products recently and was suggested the Revive Eye Serum. When asked...it was $350 I made the comment that it did not contain any dark circle ingredients (Thank You TIA) I was told by the rep that I did not have dark circles !! Now that I have had dark circles all of my life (so I believe) , this was a revalation................not to buy the $350 Revive, (which I had no intention) but what a fantastic product Expürtise is
Hi Jaysie, we'd been waiting on the INCI version of the ingredients list from the manufacturer - so thank you for reminding us to add it. You now have a full list including the forms of vitamin C etc. The two forms of Matrixyl do different things. You can read more here: https://www.truthinaging.com/review/matrixyl-synthe-6
and here https://www.truthinaging.com/review/what-is-it-matrixyl
In what forms are the Vitamin C and Vitamin A? Also, why the two forms of Matrixyl?
As a postscript I should add something about texture and application as there have been some questions emailed to customer service. First this eye cream absorbs beautifully. A tiny amount can be massaged around the entire eye area. It glides on very smoothly. There is no pilling and although I am not a big eye makeup person, I did not have an issue putting foundation over it under the eyes. In my case, no additional moisturizer has been needed.
Hi Pat, as I mentioned, because I have been using AQ and YBF Correct for so long, those aren't issues for me so much. Expurtise has done a fantastic job of maintenance so I would think it would help treat those conditions as well. You could always alternate it with your Correct, to eke it out longer.

After using it for 3 weeks my eyes look more open and vibrant. I'll definitely keep this in my routiner forever. This eye cream is absolutely miraculous. It made me look more rested and alert than I had been in a year. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great eye cream, but use it sparingly!

After using ExPürtise Effective Anti-Aging Eye Serum, my overall experience has been positive. On the first day of my trial, I noticed that my corrector and concealer weren’t creasing as much as usual before being smoothed out and set with powder. I actually liked it better as a base than E’shee. However, during my trial, there were times that I dispensed too much cream and I had issues with pilling. You really only need half a pump or less for both eyes (and I have pretty large eye areas).
I was nervous about not using my E’shee eye cream for 30 days. However, the ExPürtise not only did a good job of maintaining the successes I’ve had with previous eye creams, but also actually improved some areas in which I hadn’t noticed any improvement in for a while. I experienced a reduction in some of my fine lines. I also noticed some smoothing of the crepey part of my inner lower eyes and that they were less prone to scrunching.
As for lightening my dark circles, I can say that my area seems a tad bit lighter. Honestly, though, I am so pale and my skin is so thin and see-through, that I don’t think there is any eye cream out there that can really correct for the basis of my dark circles.

I almost gave up on this serum as it felt a little drying around the eyes (so many things do unfortunately), but then I noticed if I used it as a serum and applied it first then followed up with a little of my la vie celeste eye cream, the skin around my eyes looked and felt amazing. I got the benefits of all the anti-aging ingredients in this serum with the intense hydration applied by the la vie celeste cream.

I also had trouble using my concealer over this treatment. But I ended up buying a second bottle anyway. It does a remarkable job smoothing out my crows feet and under-eye creases, as well as tightening up my droopy upper lids. I finally realized that I did not really care about using the concealer any more!

Hi Noreen, Kelly & Imelda
We've just ExPerimented with the eye treatment in the TIA offices!
It seems that if you use a full pump, you will very likely see some pilling. The formula is creamy, but concentrated. It might help if you opted for half a pump or less to get the most out of the cream.
Definitely give it another shot and see if that helps with your application and hopefully you'll begin to see some results! Do come back and let us know should anything change!

I must admit to finding this odd. True, its not a thin gel like AQ, but I wouldn't call it a very thick cream. I haven't experienced any of this pilling either.

I agree with Noreen and Kelly. This is disappointingly not a serum. It is a very thick cream and it should have been named so. It appears not to be diminishing the fine lines especially when it piles after putting make up so that it seems to show the wrinkles more. I went back to using the dependable and truly "effective" AQ Eye serum.

Over a month’s time I found I really like this product. It had no noticeable fragrance, absorbed quickly without residue, provided light hydration throughout the day and kept the eye area feeling firm.

I have to completely agree with Noreen's review. I received Marta's email on the option to pre-order this & after reading Marta's positive review, I immediately purchased it. Unfortunately this is a dud on every level. I'm not sure why it's called a serum because it really isn't. It wasn't moisturizing at all, it pulled up under make up no matter how long I allowed I waited, and it actually increased the crepey look under my eye area which the opposite of what I had hoped for. There seemed to be a slight shimmer to it as well which accentuated everything I was hoping to not accentuate. I would call this one of my worst purchases in a long time. Win some lose some. Ugh

I purchased this eye cream through Amazon. I have sensitive skin especially around the eye area so that was one of my concerns when purchasing this. It did not cause irritation and for that reason alone, I rated it 2 stars. After using it for 5 weeks, I found it did nothing for reducing wrinkles or dark circles. In fact, I found this cream less than moisturizing and it didn't absorb well for me; when trying to apply my concealer, this product pilled terribly (and I used 1/2 pump for both eyes). While the ingredient deck seems to contain everything you would want in an eye cream, I found the results were just not there.
