Standing in a light, spring shower on my birthday was the first thought that came to mind when I spritzed with Your Best Face Uplift. If that sounds overly whimsical then let me just say that this Toner Mist has an incredible softness to it and a delightful whiff of marzipan from YBF’s signature ingredient, spin trap.
You can rely on YBF to come up with a simple toner mist that is lovely to use and has some of the best ingredients, so that even a morning spritz isn’t wasting any anti-aging opportunities. YBF calls Uplift Toner Mist a fatigue fighter. I would agree that, for both the complexion and mood, it provides the gentlest of wake-up calls.
Spin trap is a free radical scavenger and it works in a very different way from other antioxidants. Spin traps intercept free radicals before they are able to do any damage. And the intelligent part is that spin traps are the only antioxidants that differentiate between good oxygen molecules and damaging ones (ROS). They are derived from almonds (hence the marzipan/birthday cake scent).
Even with a mist, YBF can’t help but push the boundaries. New to me is oligosaccharides from chicory. This gives the immediate gratification of tightening and the longer-term benefits of collagen synthesis. Also included are flavonoids from knotgrass. This is a scruffy plant that grows on wastelands and is known to help elastin by inhibiting something called cathepsin G.
In short, I can highly recommend Uplift and it would be a mist (I know, awful pun) opportunity not to give it a try.

I was fortunate to receive samples of YBF's Uplift Toner Mist, Restore, Correct (eye), and Private Reserve Slumber Blend Anti-oxidant Oil....as part of a gift package about a month ago. These came at a time when I was looking for the perfect nighttime skin care regimen that would address my under eye puffiness & forehead expression lines and would provide hydration, repair with a minimal number of products.
I eagerly opened the samples, using them one at a time so I might assess their effectiveness, each standing on their own. Admittedly, I did not start with the Uplift Toner Mist.
Because I was trying to protect my pocketbook, I emailed the founder of Your Best Face, Darrell Owens. He not only answered me almost immediately, but kept up a discourse via email, answering EVERY question I asked. I had tried all four products by this time, but was unsure whether they would address my particular issues. He was forthright, honest, and did not pressure me to invest in every product.
In the end, however, I did buy all four products during one of Marta's amazing sales. The Uplift Toner Mist is the first product I use at night on my cleansed face. It is light, airy, and extremely easy to pat into my face and neck. It provides the perfect base for the Vitamin C products I use before I hydrate with the YBF Restore and Private Reserve Slumber Blend Oil (just a FEW drops); the Correct (eye) is also an amazing nighttime eye treatment.
I heartily recommend the YBF Uplift Toner Mist. It is a product that can be used both morning and night and may be used as a refreshing splash any time. It's lightness and freshness makes this a definite 'keeper'.
Reverse osmosis water, Uplevity™ (water, acetyl tetrapeptide-2, caprylyl glycol), Leucidal® (leuconostoc/radish root ferment filtrate), ethoxydiglycol, spin trap (phenyl butyl nitrone), epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), licorice root extract, horse chestnut extract, chicory root extract (Ichorium intybus root oligosaccharides, caesalpinia spinosa gum, water, glycerin), witch hazel extract, vitamin C (aminopropyl ascorbyl phosphate/AAP), algae extract, knotgrass flavonoids (polygonum aviculare extract, water, glycerin), kojic acid, olive leaf extract, glucono delta lactone
Shake before use. With eyes closed, lightly mist onto freshly cleansed skin. Pat or massage into skin allowing it to dry before applying other products or makeup. After first use, reapply as often as you’d like. Uplift also works great as an oil-free spray treatment for the back of the hands, elbows and knees.

Love this product! First of all, the smell is absolutely delicious..just like pistachio ice cream! This product feels great on your skin..very refreshing and absorbs quickly depending on the amount you spritz. (you can always pat it in as well to absorb more quickly) It toned down my red spots and helped shrink my pores immediately. This is a great product if you want just a little extra moisturiser for your dry areas without loading on more creams. I also use it over my make-up sometimes and it did not ruin it. Does not leave any residue. I will definitely be ordering this again. One of my new favourites!

I am about to finish my fourth bottle and ready to store two more. The YBF mist makes my skin soft and hydrated. My combination/acne prone skin loves it. I originally bought it to use on my long-haul flights, but I can't leave it out of my daily routine now.

The Uplift Toner Mist is the first product I use at night on my cleansed face. It is light, airy, and extremely easy to pat into my face and neck. It provides the perfect base for the Vitamin C products I use before I hydrate with the YBF Restore and Private Reserve Slumber Blend Oil (just a FEW drops).
I heartily recommend the YBF Uplift Toner Mist. It is a product that can be used both morning and night and may be used as a refreshing splash any time. It's lightness and freshness makes this a definite 'keeper'.

I've been using this on a daily basis for 2 months. I find it moisturizing and brightening. I make sure to pat it in under my eyes for extra firming in that area. It does help. I spend a lot of time outside, and when it's been particularly cold and/or windy, I'll spritz this on and it's soothing. When I use the Truth Renew, if the gel gets a bit dry or sticky, I use Uplift Toner Mist to revive and regain slip. When I received this, I thought I'd go through the little bottle in no time. However, I'm still on the same one. While this isn't a "heavy hitter", it's a nice addition with several uses.

I like this product. It makes sense for those of us who love the YBF products. It has a lot more punch than a typical toner. It's a keeper for me. It's portable for travel and it is much more nourishing than most mist/toner/hydration sprays. I really like using it under my daily YBF protocol - knowing that it compliments the ingredients in those products.

The dry "heated" air in winter really takes a toll on my makeup routine in winter---causing it to flake, so I was scoping out a mist to use throughout the day, before and after makeup application--and this one had amazing reviews, so I gave it a try. The almond scent reminds me of old school almond soap, and made me reconsider my love for almonds--but the scent lasts for a matter of seconds PLUS the ingredients are all very pure, AND it does a great job hydrating for a toning mist! Comes in the perfect size for travel. I would definitely re-purchase!

I don't usually find toners very helpful, but this is the nicest toner I have ever used--nice enough that it has converted me to daily toner use. Like other YBF products, it imparts a soft, smooth, fresh, hydrated feel to my skin--but in this case, without leaving even the slightest noticeable residue. It leaves my skin looking subtly brighter and more refined, without interfering with the application or absorption of serums, sunscreen, or makeup on top of it. Plus it has the same light, delicious almond smell that other YBF products often have.

I decided to take this toner in my hand luggage on a five-hour flight to Florida. My skin dries out like a Jacob's Cream Cracker in a pressurized cabin but instead of my usual dollop of moisturizer, I kept spritzing the mist on my face and neck. By the time we landed my skin wasn’t dry or tight, it was hydrated and soft and — a first for me — I didn’t look like an extra from The Walking Dead.

While the actual effects on my skin have been subtle and hard to truly compare with the effects of my previous toner, I have to say that in any case, my face looks and feels bright and healthy. As a 62-year-old woman with changing skin that’s seen lots of sun damage, I am happy to discover this toner. It’s alcohol free and filled with antioxidants, flavonoids and rejuvenating botanicals, such as licorice root (thought to decrease inflammation), chicory root, horse chestnut, algae extract (all of which hydrate the skin and help prevent wrinkles) and olive leaf extract (helps protect skin from UV damage). It also contains knotgrass flavinoids, which help fight aging due to sun damage, and Vitamin C, an antioxidant for the skin that is said to increase collagen, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and discolorations.
Overall, I have liked Your Best Face products. They are effective, reasonably priced, free of harmful chemicals and are not tested on animals. I am delighted to add this toner to my arsenal of daily products and give it two thumbs up!
