I have been using Bello Moi iFirming Serum ($79) for about 30 days. I am in my mid-60s, have normal to dry skin, some wrinkles and sagging and suffer from dark circles and puffiness under the eyes – all common for my age category. BelloMoi notes that  this eye serum helps to strengthen, firm, smooth, hydrate and repair aged eye tissue. This is exactly what I was looking for in an eye treatment.

Some of their ingredients are natural and have excellent qualities, such as aloe vera. Collectively, the ingredients in this eye serum are anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, smoothing, hydrating, stimulate production of collagen and new skin cells and  prevent free radical damage. It’s a great powerhouse of help for aging skin.

I used the serum in the morning and before bed. I did find, however, I needed a little moisturizer on top of this. After 30 days, I noticed the skin under the eyes was smoother, lighter in color and yes, even firmer as the name promises. Unfortunately, my dark circles are pretty stubborn, and the puffiness persists. This product is cost effective, as I still have half a jar left after my 30 day trial. I will continue to use it to see what the results are after a total of 60 days.

The serum is lightweight, non-greasy and dries quickly. It uses no parabens, animal testing, chemical preservatives, silicones, dyes or coloring. Ingredients are minimal and mostly natural, though there are a few that I have serious reservations about, those being butylene glycol, carbomer and Polysorbate-20.*

I found the serum to be way too fluid to come in a jar – upon first opening it, I almost spilled it! I believe it should really come in a pump bottle or bottle with a dropper. Also, it irritated my eyes. I applied the minimal amount but found that it still traveled into my eyes somewhat. I had to be very careful and keep the serum away from the edge of the eye.

For these reasons, I would not purchase this product again despite the improvement I saw.
