Welcome to the continuing saga of my unbeatable wrinkles! During this round, I tested the BioEffect EGF Serum. This is a cutting-edge product that incorporates epidermal growth factor (EFG) to facilitate anti-aging, wrinkle smoothing, etc. As this has been discussed at length in Marta’s review of the BioEffect serum, I will refer you to the data and discussion there.
So that leaves us with the question of how it worked for me. A little background: I am 52 (almost) and seemingly woke up one morning last summer bearing those lovely wrinkles often referred to as “expression lines.” I also have rosacea, so I am very careful about what I use. I am so happy to have found the Truth in Aging website, as I trust the quality of the products and advice given. I have been lucky enough to try a couple of excellent products from TIA and appreciate how TIA values its readers and customer’s opinions.
The texture of the BioEffect EGF felt very rich. Perhaps the best thing about it is that a little (and I mean literally two drops) will cover your entire face. It spreads nicely and can be targeted to your problem areas, which is a good thing given the high price point ($110 for .17 oz and $210 for .5 oz). I used the serum for four weeks and, unfortunately, did not notice any difference in my skin other than one pretty serious blemish. I wouldn’t dissuade anyone else from trying this product as others have had excellent results from it. For me, however, I guess the search continues!

I'm sorry, but any cream or serum for deep wrinkles is going to take at least 6 months to work. If you want instant results, you're going to need botox, a deep chemical peel or laser treatment, followed by use of a good serum.
