I have been incorporating Mukti Tinted Moisturiser with Sunscreen SPF 15 (Medium) in my skincare and makeup routines over the last few weeks in various scenarios. I will be 50 in September and have dry skin even in the hot, sticky, humid southern climate.

For everyday work, errands, etc. I used Mukti instead of my usual CC cream with sunscreen and left all other components of my skincare routine the same (oils, serums, eye treatments, moisturizers). Mukti was applied last after moisturizer and followed by a multi-purpose cream color stick for cheeks, eyes, and lips, brow pencil, mascara, and lip color. The product did not appear to be as thick as the CC cream I normally use but went on thick and I needed about four (4) hefty pumps to cover my entire face. There were no problems with pilling. However, upon applying the cream color stick, I found it did not glide on as smoothly as with my usual CC cream and required more blending.

The SPF 15 sunscreen was sufficient for everyday wear like commuting and a 20-30 minute walk outside during mid-day hours. I even used Mukti one Saturday while doing yard work between 11 am and 1 pm with sufficient sun protection.

Product application directions are to apply generously after moisturizing to nurture the skin and protect against environmental damage and sun. It assists as a primer for liquid and mineral foundations. Use in both direct and filtered sunlight and apply 15-20 minutes before exposure to sunlight. Reapply after 2 hours whilst outdoors. Do not rely solely on sunscreen as your only form of sun protection. Store below 30°C.

Mukti Tinted Moisturiser with Sunscreen contains SPF 15+ block-out properties and this lightly tinted formula aims to strengthen and maintain healthy skin cell growth. The product is fortified with additional antioxidants and native Australian extracts like kakadu plum, snowflower, and desert lime. The product claims to provide safe and effective coverage from environmental aggressors and touts itself as an all-natural sunscreen solution that is suitable for all skin types, readily absorbed and non-greasy. Zinc oxide filters both aging UVA and burning UVB rays. The product contains no potentially harmful ingredients, the sunscreen is even nano-particle and chemical free and it is loaded with essential oils. It is also vegan and contains nut oil.

Upon reading this product ingredient list I was anxious to try it. Alas, I was a bit disappointed because it did not provide the finish and all day radiance of my usual product. That does not mean it is an inferior product, but only that it did not work well for me. The product website lists many happy customer reviews and the product is currently out of stock. Not every product works ideally for everyone.
