I was excited to test Sciote Antioxidant Scrub & Masque ($50 in the shop). I found it interesting that this product is both a scrub and a mask. Even though I have tried many scrubs and masks, I never tried one that is both in a singular product. I was a little skeptical at first, but it was love from the moment I put in on my face. I absolutely love everything about this product.

Sciote is located in Denver, Colorado and the name means "know thyself". Why is that important? Well, for one, all their products contain all natural certified-organic ingredients. Secondly, they use the latest scientific technology available, thriving on pure and clean ingredients. Since I am 48 years old, I need an anti-aging product and this one delivers. The scrub/mask is loaded with antioxidants to reverse the signs of aging. 5% glycolic acid and 2% lactic acid reduce age spots, fine lines, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation. Its kaolin clay draws out all impurities from the skin without removing its natural oils. This product also exfoliates your skin, so between an enzyme mask and a cranberry exfoliate, you have a wonderful 2-in-1 product.

I would apply the product very generously to my face and neck to create a thick application. Its creamy texture goes on smoothly and is very refreshing. I would leave it on for the recommended 15 minutes, then would gently massage it into my skin to exfoliate. Then I would wait another 15 minutes and use a damp cloth to remove all the product. The thick kaolin clay spreads very easily on the skin, and has little black seeds in it. The smell is not overpowering — closer to something botanical than clinical. At first I used this product only once a week, but quickly started using it 4 to 5 times a week.

So, does it work? 100% yes! My skin has never looked or felt better. Not only am I glowing, but my skin is softer and I am starting to see my fine lines reducing. This is one of the best products I have ever tried. My complexion is more radiant, more moisturized and those fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes and lips are diminishing. My skin is completely different, and I look and feel amazing.
