Bought this on another online store but its pretty good smells great and makes my hair shiny and doesn't make my hair dry after like most shampoos do.

When my mother was complaining about her recent hair loss, I gave her one bottle each of Truth Vitality Shampoo and Serum which I'd been using with great success. At first, she was kind of skeptical about a shampoo that didn't lather up -- after about 2 weeks she was hooked and told me to buy 10 bottles each so she could stock up (she lives in Korea, and she doesn't read English, so she can't shop here by herself). I did buy 10 bottles each when they were on sale, and she's been using them religiously ever since. Every time I see her, her hair line around forehead is noticeably filling up! This is great product line!

My hair was shedding since teenage years, but it did not bother me much then. But lately - in my late thirties - I have been noticing less and less hair and seeing more and more scalp, so I decided to test this shampoo. The copper peptides seemed so inviting and I love that it's nasties free. The price is quite reasonable for such a quality product and I gave it a try. I am honesty so glad I did. My hair started to shed like 3 times less after a couple of washes! And it's still working! Also the scalp is waaaaay less itchy, close to nothing, actually. When I wash my hair with the shampoo it seems as I am using a conditioner at the same time. The hair is silky soft when wet. And that's not the only good thing: my hair has more volume as before, and the hair is so fluffy and bouncy - that is until it gets greasy. But I'm used to for that to happen in two days, so no problem. Also the smell of this shampoo is so lovely, it's like drinking a warm sweet lemongrass tea. It has transformed the hair washing from a chore into a pleasant experience. The ONLY downside for me is that I am from Europe and the costs of shipping along with the costs for customs are overwhelming. But that has nothing to do with the product, the product it really is great!

I have a lot of hair shedding due to stress and health issues. The shedding fluctuates and fortunately is not so exteme that I feel the need for a hat or wig. As part of my overall committment to using as few chemicals as possible, I was anxious to try this product out.
I've used one bottle of this shampoo, And I really like the way my hair feels after using it. I have always had very thick hair, but lately not so much in the front at at the temples. The shampoo gives my hair more fullness.
But - the pump bottle is quite awkward to use in the shower - the bottle is not easy to hold onto with wet hands, and takes many (15?) pumps to get enough product to get any suds. I realize it won't suds like chemical-laden products, but I at least need to feel like I have something on my hair to work with. I'd love to see a more user friendly delivery system. Did I not read the directions completely, I wonder how much I should use....
I'll buy another bottle and give it more time to produce results, as I know that can take months, or longer to show up.

So glad I received a sample of this with my last purchase! I have the most difficult hair in the world - highlights, lowlights, natural gray, fine, thick, coarse, frizzy - all on one head. My hair was the absolute best it's ever been after using your shampoo and conditioner with copper peptides. It was all - every last hair - silky feeling with nice volume. Made my hair look and feel beautiful. I'm only sad because I didn't try them sooner.

This is an update after having just finished my first bottle: Hair shedding has almost completely stopped. Having used the Advanced Complex for a while, my hair shedding was much, much better than before to begin with, but I always had a red, irritated scalp that was still contributing to a small amount of shedding that happened whenever I washed my hair. And nothing seemed to be able to calm my scalp. Adding this product to the regimen has really done the trick. At first, I just couldn't get used to a shampoo that doesn't foam much (now I find it calming and pleasant to use), and it didn't really seem to have an effect on my scalp for the first couple of weeks. But about 3 weeks into using this, I noticed that the itching of my scalp that always bothered me for years started to go away. And now my shedding is almost 100% back to normal. I was going to wait until the black friday to re-order, but after a couple of days of using my old, sudsy "hair loss" shampoo, my scalp starts to itch again :( So I went ahead and just ordered 2 more bottles :D This is the best hair product line Marta! And please please consider launching a vegan, emu oil-free conditioner so more people can benefit from it :(

This shampoo is very calming on the scalp and is also hydrating. It doesn't smell bad at all. I actually love how it smells. I just wish the conditioner didn't contain emu oil so I could use the conditioner along with the shampoo :(

Hi Gloria, that's wonderful to hear. Yes, we did reformulate. One of the improvements we made was to add copper peptides! A couple of weeks ago, my sister-in-law came to stay with us. She is early 50s with shoulder length hair that has a lot of gray in it. On arrival from France, her hair was limp and brittle. She started using my Truth Vitality shampoo and conditioner (more out of family loyalty than anything else) and 9 days later her hair was transformed. Soft, shiny and loads of volume. I was stunned - and very proud. She took three bottles of each back to Paris with her.

I am nearing the end of a bottle of this shampoo. All I can say is my hair is absolutely beautiful! I love the citrus smell and while I am used to more suds I can guarantee that your hair is clean and wonderfully manageable. I also paired it with the conditioner but have used it with and without it and it looks fantastic either way. i have very fine and straight hair that is on the longer side and it appears thicker with much more volume. Time to order more. Marta has the formula changed since this was first introduced? When I used it way back when it first came out my hair did not do this great. Awesome product!

Hi Ann, copper peptides work on the hair follicles by increasing follicle cell proliferation; and copper also decreases programmed follicle cell death. It does not increase shedding. It may be that you started using the products as you went into the telogen cycle of shedding and it seems as if there is an association. We have been making our copper peptide products for three years and have not had reports of increased shedding.

I've been using the shampoo and conditioner for a bit over a month now. There are things I like: the all-natural ingredients, the low suds (suds are so polluting and bad for water), it imparts a nice shine, and my hair feels clean and bouncy. I tried this combo because of the lack of chemicals, not so much for the hair growth, although I was hoping for less shedding. Instead, the shedding seems so much worse. I've read that this can happen with copper peptide products. I wonder if any one else has had this experience, and how long it lasts before shedding slows down?

I like the scent - lemony and refreshing. In any case, what really matters is how my hair looks. I'm on my second bottle and my hair has more volume, is stronger and just looks younger. This isn't only a shampoo, its a treatment.

Got this product in the Discover with Marta beauty box. It took me a very long while to get over the smell of this item to use it. But I must say , that this is my most favorite shampoo of all time. But, I can't use it with that smell. One day I was on an elevator and my scalp was a bit warm and the moisture made the scent just waft through the air. I was so embarrassed.

If you ever improve the scent of this item, throw me a message since I would definitely buy it, and at that point it would be 5 star worthy. 3 stars only since the scent makes this unusable.

I get ocular migraines from noxious scents and had my first one in nearly 2 years.

I received a sample of this in the Discover with Marta Collection and my hair felt okay after using it. But I just can't get used to a shampoo that doesn't produce a soapy lather. I know all those suds might not be good for my hair, but my hair doesn't really feel clean unless I have the suds.

Having used the original Truth Vitality Shampoo - Conditioner & Complex products for several weeks finding the products are effective at reducing shedding, encouraging new hair growth without negative reactions often found in this type of product.. I recommend continue use of a light protector on ends during styling not enough protection in the products alone. The only reason I did not give the full five stars is due to the product build after extended period of time (leaving a gummy feel to ones hair), easily clarified by occasionally using a vinegar and water rinse.
