I was happy to try a bronzer in the middle of summer; I used the W3ll People Hedonist Mineral Bronzer in medium shade #52. I liked this bronzer right away. I typically wear "medium" shades in foundations, and this was a perfect match for me. This bronzer works a lot like mineral foundations; it comes in a jar with an inner lid that has holes in for the product to come through so you dip your brush onto the top, shake off excess powder, swirl it around on the lid, and then apply. A little goes a long way; I overdid the application the first time (just blot it with tissue) but the second time got it right. One quick swipe across the cheeks, forehead and chin gives a natural sun-touched look. I like this look better than my usual application of blush; it gives an overall subtle warm glow that looks more diffused and natural.
I've been using this bronzer for a few weeks and can say that it does not cause any breakouts, even though I have sensitive skin that is prone to redness and breakouts. I also noticed that this warm shade looks good with any lip or eye color, since it blends into your skin so well. I tried it with various eye shadows (taupe, coral, mauve) and lip color (coral, peach, and berry tones) and it never clashed.
According to the website, this company's natural makeup is "designed specifically for the modern woman who demands authenticity, simplicity, and quality--but not willing to compromise on convenience and performance." This bronzer is made in the USA without animal testing and is free of a whole list of bad ingredients, including but not limited to parabens, chemicals, petroleum, bismuth oxychloride, talc, dye, and fragrance. If you use a bronzer or would like to try one, I think this is a pure formulation that does a good job with good ingredients and would recommend it.
