TIA Review by Marta:
If I had to change one thing about BRAD Biophotonic Ultra Elastin Lift it would be the name. “Lift” may lead to unrealistic implications, and this is not the best serum I have come across for sagging skin. However, it is excellent at achieving tighter, plumper skin, as well as improving tone and radiance. It is a standout product.

I agree with almost all of the comments Mark made in his review of Ultra Elastin Lift. Although this is a lightweight serum, it is hydrating enough to go without moisturizer (my skin tends very slightly towards being on the oily side; dryer skins may disagree). Hyaluronic acid and phospholipids are certainly responsible for this, but there are also a number of oils (such as sunflower, tamanu and avocado) and even cocoa butter (although you’d never know if from the thin, gel consistency).

Hydration is just one component of this cover-all-bases formulation. There are several actives for clarifying, lightening and exfoliation, including glycolic acid, lactic acid, phytic acid, vitamin C and vitamin A. Again, another qualification is required. This is not a harsh skin brightener and my sensitive skin tolerates it extremely well.

The peptides include Snap-8, a muscle contraction inhibitor that reduces the depth of wrinkles by inhibiting expression lines. Another peptide, acetyl hexapeptide-3 performs a similar function. Antioxidants include ubiquinone, but mostly are in the form of plant extacts, such as borage, flax seed, eyebright and green tea, to name but a few.

The only things not to like are the sodium hydroxide (a bit too high up the list for my liking) and phenoxyethanol (thankfully buried near the end). It is impossible not to comment on the price and I must admit that when I started out my test I was skeptical that I would be able to justify over $200. However, this is a relatively large bottle at 1.7oz and it just seems to go on forever. After nearly two months of testing, I can see at least another four months of enjoyment of this quality formula.

I was so excited to try this stuff out. At the end of the bottle I had no reason to order it again! I could not see any improvements from this or the Youth Creator Gel Cream I also purchased as a companion product. The big deal about the dark glass packaging which is supposed to aid in keeping the product fresh really drew me in, but to tell ya the truth, I've had much better results from lesser "hyped" products! Yes, I like the stuff, I think it does a good job of prevention, but as far as improvement or repair, I'm no sold.

  • Hi Marta, I'm really interested in buying this, but just wondering if it's ok to layer with retin-a or copper peptide, because it has glycolic acid. Thank you!

My sample is almost empty, so time to review this.. The formula felt too heavy for my face, so I ended up using it on my skin. It almost felt like it contained some sort of silicone and my facial skin felt like it couldn't breathe was this product, which is why I switched to using it only on my neck. Unlike the other reviews, I felt that this cream had a somewhat strange odor, which I didn't notice as much once I switched to only using on my neck. There wasn't enough to see much of a difference but if you like really heavy, silicone feeling creams, than this might be for you.

I love the ease of BRAD Biophotonic Ultra Elastin Lift; no smell, just a good clean feeling on the skin, and that subtle easing of lines. I had recently purchased the BRAD Biophotonic Essential Elixir Multi-Peptide, which I also found to be an excellent product, leaving my skin feeling plump and smooth. I think this Ultra Elastin Lift might be the next step up from that, at more than twice the price. I would consider switching…but I’m giving it another month. I don’t think this serum can take the place of my beloved Your Best Face Correct eye cream, but with this added tightening under that, I feel my skin is lookin’ pretty good for my age. And it’s all quick n’ easy, which is the best part.

This strikes me as one weird product, caught me by complete surprise due to it's consistency: water! is what I saw. Upon application, I really really overdid this cause I thought it a waste to let the already squeezed out of tube (me, trying the sample which came in the DWM box) serum, go down the sink: my skin reacted immediately, sort of a face lift, very temporarily, ofcourse and thankfully cause that is not what I am looking for. My skin looked, after only 1 application, radiant and healthy. Specifically noticeable on the skin on my cheeks.
Yes, I am afraid that I am 'sold' ......... at the moment (y'all know that time changes things/skin/exoerience so I will update on this item later on).
Such an intriging brand, this Brad.

This is my favorite amongst all the Brad serums (unfortunately, also the most expensive). I tried this after obtaining glowing results from the multi-peptide elixir. This serum is slightly thicker and feels even more soothing to my skin. I apply it all over my face, eyes, and neck after cleansing, and my face instantly achieves this soft rested glow. My skin is usually sensitive, oily in areas and prone to blemishes. This clear, scentless serum balances my oily areas and intensely rehydrates my eyes and cheeks. I use the Elastin Sculpting Firming cream afterwards. Both are instantly absorbed by my skin. I really enjoy using this combination morning and night. No matter how ragged, grey, and tired I feel, my face instantly perks up when I massage in these two products. The immediate effect is rosy glowing skin. After six weeks of use, my skin has greater clarity and translucency, and though not "lifted", feels bouncy and firm.

I enjoy the Brad Ultra Elastin Lift. I find that with only a couple of uses, fine lines disappear. Ultra-hydrating, this product is chock full of ingredients that moisturizer and plump the skin.

I'll be writing my full review of this in a week or so, but suffice it to say that that I am finding it very good so far. It firms, smooths out wrinkles and leaves the skin feeling very soft. I want to give it a bit longer before giving my final verdict four stars. I have feeling that it will prove to be five-star worthy though

I'm always on the look out for the holy grail of pore minimizer products for my 47 year old nose. Sevani Rapid Renewal Resurfacing Creme gives some very temporary pore reduction. I've just begun to use Arcona AM Acne Lotion on just my nose (not much progress yet). And just purchased my first tub of YBF Prpe. I've used it twice and it makes my entire face appear more refined, (love it!) but alas the least noticeable results being the old snout. I fear this may be as good as it gets. I would love to give this Brad product a test drive.

A product that addresses aging, lines, wrinkles and sagging, dryness, oiliness, acne and breakouts, hyperpigmentation and dark spots, large pores and dullness? Sounds too good to be true. Would love to give it a go!

I would love to try this - I've been eyeing it off for some time as it addresses one of my major skin concerns. It's the reason I'm looking for a new cleanser as lately I've found it hard to completely rinse the La Vie Celeste cleanser from my face - it seems to settle in to the pores which is a no-no for me as I love that clean skin feeling which I now seem to only achieve with a gel cleanser.

I would love to try this! I am currently looking for a product that can work on my enlarged (some even collapsed pores) around my nose. They are really visible and I am struggling for a solution....

These new finds have made it into my daily beauty routine. I love the simplicity of the CV Skinlabs line with its focus on healing troubled skin. BRAD, of course, is one of my latest heavy hitters…
