Première Nuit comes in a tall, brass-colored cylindrical pump containing 1.2 oz. I use it each night before going to bed, on clean, dry skin. I always apply toner on my face before applying any product to help open and neutralize the pores for better absorption. The pump dispenses just enough to dab a very small amount on each cheek, nose, lip, chin and forehead. It has a strong, but not unpleasant perfume and a nice, creamy consistency.
My hope with using the Première Nuit was that it would plump up my skin a bit, get rid of the lines and reduce the amount of peeling, while regenerating new skin. I have to say, I have not been disappointed.
One of the main ingredients in Première Nuit is Ubiquinol, which is preported to be the next generation CoQ10. CoQ10 is an antioxidant and has many benefits as a vitamin-like substance found throughout the body, especially in the heart, liver, kidney and pancreas. There has been enough evidence to show that it has some effectiveness as an oral supplement for all sorts problems, including age-related vision loss, congestive heart failure, diabetic nerve damage, immune function, high blood pressure, migraines and Parkinson’s disease. There is early, though still insufficient evidence to show that it is effective when applied as a cream to improve wrinkled skin. In any case, there is no evidence to support that it is harmful in any way.
To sum up, I have found that in the short four weeks I have been using Première Nuit, it has reduced my fine lines and moisturized my skin, overall. My only one small complaint is that the single dab you get from the pump is not really enough to put on your neck as well as your face, and two pumps is too much. At $76 a bottle, you would want to be mindful. Overall, I recommend this product.
