TIA Review by Kelly:
Juice Beauty is a certified organic beauty line introduced by Karen Behnke in 2005 under the premise that using an organic fruit and vegetable juice base in skin care products would be so much more beneficial than a water base. Working from a wellness angle, she teamed with chemists and skin care professionals and patented a unique juice formulation method for all her products. Understanding that your skin absorbs 60% of what is placed on it drove her to develop this healthier skin care alternative.

My introduction to the organic skin care industry was a Juice Beauty eye cream over 10 years ago, so when TIA offered me the Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Lifting Neck Cream to test, it felt as warm and familiar as my Aunt Edna.

Juice Beauty markets this neck cream as ultra-firming and moisturizing. It was created to tighten and smooth the delicate skin around the neck and décolletage. Who should use it? All skin types who want to address fine lines, wrinkles, loss of firmness and sun damage. At 55 years of age, that puts me right in the bull’s-eye for this product. My biggest complaint, though, is the paper-thin appearance my neck skin has taken on in the last few years. So how is this product going to change that?

Stem Cellular contains a proprietary blend of fruit stem cells from apple and grape buds. Malus sylvestris is a stem cell extract from an old varietal apple found in Switzerland that has been shown to stimulate human stem cell proliferation. Grape buds are a phytochemical powerhouse along with biotin, B and C vitamins, and calcium. Marta has several in-depth articles on the use of plant stem cells. In this case, they are infused into antioxidants Vitamin C, Vitamin E, white tea leaf extract and a resveratrol-rich grape seed formula, along with peptides to create tighter looking skin. I read that the use of certain antioxidants creates a synergistic effect — “strength in numbers” — that shows evidence of collagen synthesis. Smooth and supple is addressed by so many ingredients. Among them is Squalane, a real showstopper, also known as Nature’s Facelift.

Stem Cellular is packaged in an airtight, one perfect pump container. It has a delicate yellow tint and a lovely soft lemon scent. My skin drinks in this cream and I have to say it loves it. My neck skin looks and feels suppler, and I imagine further use will improve on that. I have used Stem Cellular for six weeks now, both morning and night, without a single problem. That’s probably partly due to the use of safer alternatives to chemical preservatives and emulsifiers. Thank you very much! Priced at $55 for 1.7 ounces, the luxury of a fabulous neck cream can be yours.
