Osmotics Blue Copper 5 Prime for Eye is a powerful eye cream designed for people who want an item to smooth fine lines and crow’s feet, fade discoloration and dark circles and visibly lift eyelids. Formulated with a powerful 3x strength formula of copper peptides and botanical extracts, this silky, soufflé textured cream reduces excess fluid to combat under eye bags, while strengthening tissue to keep the entire eye area smooth, firm and line free. Just like all of Truth In Aging’s products, we've made sure to adequately test and review Osmotics Blue Copper 5 Prime for Eye, so that you can be completely confident that this item will firm and brighten your skin. Shop Truth In Aging today for the best anti-agers to improve and rejuvenate the area around your eyes.

Osmotics Blue Copper 5 Prime for Eye uses a patented tetrapeptide to prevent sagging, while tightening and firming the contours of the eyes. Albizia Julibrissin bark extract and Darutoside work to eliminate dark circles, crow’s feet and discoloration. This potent anti-ager also features alfalfa seed extract and hydrolyzed lupine protein to get rid of excess fluid, which then alleviates signs of fatigue and slack skin.

Directions:
After cleansing, use ring finger and gently pat into skin around entire eye area, including upper and lower lids. May be used morning and/or evening. Firmly close lid after use. Store at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Slight color changes are normal and do not affect efficacy. Especially formulated to target signs of hormonal aging for skin 40+. Perfect for all skin types, including sensitive.

TIA Review by Marta:
I think that Osmotics has really hit its stride with the Prime line. Formulated for the 40-something or older who is going through hormonal change due to menopause, Prime tackles the perplexing and often stubborn changes to the skin that come with it. I am already sold on Osmotics Blue Copper 5 Prime face serum and was super excited to try the new Blue Copper 5 Prime Eye.

The eyes are often the first area where the skin shows signs of hormonal aging, resulting in dry, crepey, slack skin and under-eye bags. Blue Copper 5 Prime Eye seems to challenge these symptoms head on. I don’t really suffer from eye bags, but I’ve certainly found that my under-eyes are smooth, the skin is firm, my lids are holding up and – huge bonus – I fancy that my eyelashes are darker and thicker.

The latter phenomena may be due to the copper, since we know this grows hair from our own Truth Vitality line. The copper used in Blue Copper 5 Prime Eye is GHK copper peptides (listed as Prezatide Copper Acetate) and copper PCA. Notwithstanding the eyelash bonus, the primary purpose of copper’s inclusion is its ability to boost collagen and elastin.

As with Prime for face, there is acetyl tetrapeptide-2, a peptide that is supposed to firm the skin and compensates for the loss of certain hormones, such as thymopoietin, which slows down cell renewal and curbs the skin’s natural immune functions. Always welcome in a good serum is the peptide combination known as Matrixyl 3000, another collagen booster.

Interesting botanicals include mimosa (albizzia julibrissin), which seems to have exciting possibilities as a free radical scavenger that is more potent than L-ascorbic acid. Hydrolyzed lupine protein is high in amino acids, and according to Osmotics, along with alfalfa seeds, it promotes lymphatic drainage. It is worth noting that alfalfa has also been explored as a milder (non-irritating) alternative to retinol exfoliants. My favorite – since it is new to me and I love encountering new ingredients – is darutoside. This comes from a plant called siegesbeckia and is an anti-inflammatory and skin repairer (although not relevant in this context, it is often touted as a stretch mark repairer).

Despite all this plant power, Osmotics does not formulate for those who want completely natural products; there is some silicone, other synthetics and preservatives such as diazolidinyl urea.

Its not a bad eye treatment, its non irritating which is always a bonus as I have sensitive eyes so it can also be used on the eye lids but it just isn't moisturizing enough especially in winter. I loved osmotics blue copper prime but I'm not such a big fan of this eye treatment and I don't think I would repurchase when there are so many other eye creams to try.

I just turned 50. Over the Winter my skin became decidedly dryer, with the eye area really taking a hit. Cleansing with a balm has been an improvement, but my eyes were still aging me. I've been using this product for about 3 weeks now. I noticed a difference after the first use. It is so moisturizing and hydrating, I think that is half the battle. The skin under my eyes is drastically firmer and smoother. It doesn't irritate my eyes or cause any watering, and I apply it all around, even on the lids. It comes in a plastic pot with a screw top which is only .5 ounce but seems huge. A little dab goes a long way, so even though this is $98 (but these things always go on sale, so who pays full price?), it will last a long time, even with twice a day use.

I would love to try Osmotics Blue Copper 5 Prime for Eyes. I'm 47 and overall my skin is in pretty good shape, but my eyes really age me. I have tried every thing under the sun for my under eye bags that make me look so tired all the time, especially in the dreaded florescent lighting that is, gulp, everywhere! A loss of firmness and creepiness is starting to be more prevalent too. The big 5-0 and menopause is just around the corner, yay! Thank you so much for the opportunity to try this Marta!

I'd be thrilled to try Osmotics Blue Copper 5 Prime for Eyes! I've never used a copper peptide product ever. The skin under my eyes is slightly crepey, but definitely tends to dryness and requires a lot of maintenance in our beastly Chicago winters. My upper lids are not crepey at all, but unlike yours, Marta, they are not holding up, getting saggier by the day. This area is where I'm really curious to see if this Osmotics copper product would help. I do use AQ Skin Solutions Eye Serum; my lashes are looking good, and I've seen minor benefits under my eyes. I'm 55, and post-menopausal. Thank you for the chance to try Blue Copper 5 Prime for Eyes!

Ok, well lets see I just turned 50! What! So fast, a blink of the eye and boom, no turning back! I was speaking to a friend who had already turned 50 last year and she was commenting on the things that changed in her skin. It was if she had cursed me because it seems as though the next day unwanted things started popping up switching and taking unexpected turns. And yes! yes! my eyes now are no longer responding to the eye cream I've always used. Crepey puffy darkened Oh My!!! And what of my lashes? Those lush fringes had already shrunk a few years back. It would be so nice to have even just a bit of what I used to have back.
It's of no use to pop into a department store where the SA is obligated to push only their line and well you just don't get an unbiased opinion or significant results. So I would be thrilled at the opportunity to try the Blue Copper 5 that could actually make a difference!
    Cheers,
    Kat

It would be really nice to have a product that helps with undereye bags with the added bonus of darkening and thickening the eyelashes.
