Truth Renew Ultrasonic & LED Anti-Aging System

This definitely works, and is much better than the lights by themselves. At 49, my skin was starting to feel drier and thinner. I was having trouble keeping the area under my eyes moisturized. Since I've started using the Truth Renew I've noticed that all of my products seem to work better. I'm able to use cheaper stuff with better results and I think that may be because this device actually does allow the products to absorb better. My skin is firmer, seems thicker and healthier; it's definitely smoothed lines and wrinkles and the color is improved and more even. I was starting to lose that youthful rosiness, being replaced with rougher, more splotchy skin. I was using a tinted BB cream, at least, every day to even things out. After one month using the Truth Renew for 8 minutes (4 per side of face) every other day, I'm back to no longer needing camouflage. I highly recommend this. Along with a face brush, I think it is a beauty essential.

We're glad to hear you are starting to see clearer and more even toned skin. When using the device in ultrasonic mode, it is important to keep the plate flush against skin and moving upward. (Be sure to use a water-based gel or serum!) Usually 15 minutes a day 3x a week can be sufficient, though others may opt to use the device a bit more. If you are comfortable using the device on the high setting, this might offer more support. On areas that you feel may need a bit more support, you can try using the pulse setting for a few minutes, which will provide a slightly more intense setting. Received this unit at the end of april. I am still unsure as to how exactly to be using the unit, but I have found that my skin is now starting to look clearer, more even toned. I was hoping to get some plumping to help the wrinkles (from nose to mouth and between eyebrows) look smoother and some lifting - but nothing yet. It could be because I am not using the unit correctly(not often enough or not long enough?) The directions were confusing and the emails I sent - were not of much help. I think my
muddling along may be working but not sure. I am hoping that over time, I will see some plumping of the skin. Does anyone have suggestions on how long to use the ultrasound; how often to use the ultrasound; what setting for the ultrasound(there are 3 settings - but no instructions for the top one - the pulse. I emailed about it but the answers I received were very vague so haven't used that setting).

The first few weeks I noticed that my complexion was rosier and looked healthier in tone. More recently I see a noticeable lift to eyelids, cheeks and tightening of jowls. Also seeing decrease in crows feet and upper lip lines. So excited as this is only at 5 weeks of use!

I just received my Truth Renew Ultrasonic & LED system in the mail yesterday. After one use my skin felt and looked firmer, especially around my brow line. I noticed and felt a change right away. It it safe to use the Ultrasonic and Red LED mode on your whole neck?

I was one of the reviewers to the Ultra Renew, precursor of U R Plus and Truth one...I still love and use my UR and in my late 40s now usually people gives me 10 years less :).
I just know for sure that the ultrasound works...like nothing else on sagging skin (eg jaw lines)
What a wonderful idea having a larger metal head for more area to deliver the ultrasound...saves precious time and probably covers the face better. I just think at sometime I will have to upgrade!

I've used the Truth Renew twice so far--first with ultrasound, then all the LED, and last night just the ultrasound. I don't have a lot of issues---very fine crosshatching under one eye, a little more in the way of dark circles than I'd like, lines in my forehead I've had since I was about 15. But I have noticed a gentle loss of firming over my eyes (they are deep set and I seem to have less lid of late) and the very first sign of a lack of tightness on my jawline. I've also been plagued by blackheads on my nose pretty much since puberty. I thought I'd give this a try and catch things before they really start to decline and maybe even finally get rid of my annoying blackheads.

The first night I used the Truth Renew, I noticed changes immediately. My face was left bright red and very tight, almost difficult to move, and I felt like I had an awful sunburn. Much to my fright, I had lines next to my mouth (are those marionette lines) that I'd never had before. I worried I'd caused more problems than I'd helped. No need to worry---after about 10 minutes the sunburnt feeling had faded, as had the bright red lobster look. While my face still felt tight until I went to bed, the marionette lines had gone away. And my lids had definitely tightened up. By the morning, I think my dark circles were less noticeable to my critical eye and I looked firmer, fresher, and firmer.

So, last night I just used to ultrasonic--I thought maybe alternating days would give my skin a chance to rest and rebuild and I could see which method--ultra or LED--did what. Again, huge sunburnt feeling and this time, the crosshatching under my right eye was instantly worse, not better. However, after about an hour, the wrinkles had gone and the sunburnt feeling faded after 10 to 15 minutes. This morning, I look better than ever.

My feeling from this is 1) doing it close to bedtime is best so your skin can repair and renew while you sleep and 2) never do it right before you need to be somewhere. Again, you might actually look worse initially, but I think it's just your skin tightening and doing good things. Give it a little time and some sleep, and you'll definitely see positive results. I'm assuming that zapping my blackheads will take a few times, but as for my other issues, after just 2 sessions, there is noticeable improvement and, like I said, my issues were very minor, so I can only imagine how dramatic the results could be if you had bigger things troubling you. Two thumbs up and a snap!

Ronnie, the Ultra Renew Plus has an additional functionality - the ionic mode. And you can use all three modes simultaneously. With Truth Renew, the LED and ultrasound modes must be used consecutively.

OK. Now, I'd like to know how I would decide between the new Truth Renew and the Ultra Renew Plus?

I got the Ultra Renew when it first came out and got good results with skin tighter and wrinkles faded. I haven't kept it up as much as I should, maybe the new Truth Renew will be the boost I need to get back to a regular regimen. I like the idea of the bigger plate.

Hi Ronnie, yes the plate is bigger. We have improved the device in every way that we can and so I believe it is better than the original UR. But not everything works for everyone and these technologies may just not be for you.

Ok. Please tell me the difference between this and the original Ultra Renew which I purchased when it first came out. I used it religiously for many months and saw no skin tightening or any other effect. I asked about the difference between the original and the PLUS when IT came out and you did say the PLUS was more effective.
Is the only difference here the fact that the plate is bigger?
