Although much can be said and written about a product and how it performs, perhaps the real evidence of whether or not it works is to answer the question: Would you purchase it again? After six weeks, I am nearing the end of my bottle of Skinfinite LOL (Laugh Out Loud) Eye Serum and am facing that very question.
But first, I would be remiss in not mentioning the ingredients list. If peptides and botanicals work for you, this will definitely be worthwhile reading. Third and fourth on the list are tetrapeptides (EyeserylTM and HaloxylTM) to address eye puffiness, dark circles, firmness and tone around the eye. BioskinupTM is a collective blend of botanicals (Ptychopetalum Olaciodes Bark/Stem Extract, Pfaffia Paniculata Root Extract, Lilium Candidum Flower Extract) that work to alleviate puffiness, fine lines, stimulate blood circulation, and act as an anti-inflammatory. Hesperidin (a citrus bioflavonoid) improves skin tone and stimulates circulation to reduce dark circles; evening primrose oil (contains Gamma Linolenic Acid) provides anti-inflammatory and emollient benefits. Although the list goes on, these are a few of the ingredients that specifically target problems associated with the periorbital area.
My concerns around the eye area are to maintain firmness and skin tone, hydrate, address the start of fine lines, and reduce occasional puffiness. To begin with, I like the Skinfinite pump bottle that made it easy to dispense just the right amount – no wasted product. As a serum, it has excellent lubricity and I found one drop was plenty for each eye. Lightly tapping the serum around the eye, it absorbs quickly without any sticky residue. I used this morning and night. It worked well right away, keeping the eye area firm and moisturized. Luckily, I don’t have problems with dark under-eye circles, so I honestly can’t speak to that. However, I did intentionally skip an evening application when I knew I would be up quite late without sleep, resulting in a bit of puffiness in the morning. I resumed application early the following morning and in about an hour the puffiness had gone.
I quickly discovered an affinity for this eye serum and it has performed very well for me over the entire six-week period (and yes, I will be purchasing this in the future). I am pleased to say that this seems to be working for me, right away. I have very fair skin, and late nights, stress, and lack of exercise (working at the computer too much!) shows on my skin first as puffiness and dark circles around my eyes. LOL eye serum prevented both, and I have been nearly sleepless, unfortunately, for two nights. I wouldn't recommend sleeplessness for testing, but for me, it provided exactly the conditions I need help with the most.
My only concern is with the very strong smell of the product. It smelled so strong that I was concerned about putting it close to my eyes, and I waited before using any other cosmetics until it dried, in case it stung my skin and I had to wash it off.
It did not sting, dried to an unnoticeable trace that felt very moisturizing, but not sticky. I did check the bottom of the container for the expiration date, however, as the odor of the product worried me. No worry, though, because the expiration date is more than a year out. But I still wish it smelled better, right out of the pump wich, by the way, dispensed exactly enough to treat both eyes. -

I have always had problems with dark circles under my eyes and after reading Mark's review I decided I would give LOL a try. Now, I cannot live without my LOL...after a month there is such a huge improvement with my dark circles and the lines around my eyes. For anyone who tired of looking tired, this product is a must! I am going to try Skinfinite's Platinum pm retinol cream next and I will keep you updated. Thanks for the recommendation Mark!

I know this is brutal, but I can not sugar coat it.... I have tried so many eye creams I can not count them anymore. This one is by far the WORST. It does nothing, but smell bad. I wish I could return it. :(

56 y/o grew up on the beach in the ocean just about every day and didn't wear sunglasses until I became an adult. These eyes have squinted plenty. I also inherited the predisposition to puffy dark circles. Sigh.
I have used LOL eye serum for several months now and have noticed a decrease in dark puffies. I alternated w AQ or used them together as the AQ does seem to help more with lines around my eyes. Now, having to choose between them ($$) I choose LOL.

P.s. A little goes a long way...2/3 of one pump comfortably does both eyes, over and under.and the sides. It does stay a bit sticky for 20 mins or so hence prefer night time usage only. Smell and color can be a bit off putting with some I guess but for me it does not matter.
For the price and super fast effectiveness this is great value for money.

Have been using for close to two weeks now, once a day only at night time and very pleasantly shocked at the results.
I have huge dark under eye circles (raccoon like) due to lack of sleep and 12-14 hours a day at work for over last three months, massive amount of under eye wrinkles and thankfully very little puffiness.
Am 37 and very oily skin and frankly very few products have managed to have any impact on the dark circles and or wrinkles.
After two weeks LOL has managed to substantially and visibly reduced the dark circles...a few days back was visiting a Clinique store to pick up some under eye concealer and was shocked to see how much the dark circles have reduced, under the bright lights and magnifying mirror! Overall my under eyes look much brighter and healthier.
Wrinkles not so much, very little impact if at all but honestly I was looking at this more for reducing dark circles rather than wrinkles or puffiness. Guess will have to try the AQ eye serum next to see if wrinkles can be reduced.
Overall very happy with LOL eye serum, will certainly be keeping this around to reduce the dark circles.

Love this! I am forty something and have been my covering dark circles since I was in middle school. Lately, long hours at work have been leaving my eyes puffy and even more tired. After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. Wow, what a difference. This completely gets rid of my puffiness in the morning~ it takes a few minutes to work. The best part is the reduced darkness of my circles. I feel like I still need make up, but they are much more easily covered and the skin is more firm and smooth. This serum is my new best friend.

unfortunately, this product was *really* not for me. i am not someone to complain easily, but i am hoping to return this LOL eye serum and get something else. i seem to have a lot of the same complaints as heidi back in 2013. the smell is just terrible for me- very chemical and strong- like ammonia! not good, especially when i want something soft and soothing around my eyes. it stays sticky way too long for me to be able to use it during the day under makeup or powder, and the color is very off-putting... it's a kind of yellowish green. gross! only unhealthy things are that color in my view... so unappealing. sorry to be so harsh but i was super disappointed by this product. i will go back to the AQ eye serum that works wonders, or possible try something new! :)

After reading the reviews, I had to try this serum. Unfortunately upon application, it made my periorbital areal sting! This went away after some time (5 min), but the sticky serum remained visible, despite using less and trying to rub into the surrounding skin. It seems to dry out the skin rather than hydrating it! I have only been using it for 4 days, but given the stinging, and drying, I'm not sure whether I will continue.

I received a sample in a Discover with Marta collection. The moment I applied it the moisturizing effect felt amazing. Sublime, actually!. This product tends to be a bit sticky for me after application for about 30-60 minutes, and as someone else mentioned in a review, it leaves a light sheen where applied. I've tried using less, but have about the same results. Overall, I love the way the skin around my eyes feels with LOL Eye Serum. I don't have circles and my eyes aren't very puffy or baggy (due to eyelid surgery about 6 years ago), so I look for performance around the corners of the eyes (down with crows feet!), and how refreshed the thin skin around my eyes feels after application. For me personally, I prefer AQ's Eye Serum, but only by a nose.

I received a sample of the LOL eye serum in the Discover with Marta collection and I love this serum. I have been using this at night for about 2 weeks. My undereye area is very dry and I have very dark circles under my eyes. This serum moisturizes and hydrates and the skin under and around my eyes is not dry. Some eye creams irritate my eyes, but not this serum, which is an added plus. I have used this alone and with an eye cream applied over it and I think the serum is effective on it's own. I haven't noticed a difference in my dark circles yet, but am looking forward to see if the serum lightens them. I just ordered the serum since my sample is almost gone.

Let me start off by saying I do not sleep well at night. If I get 3 and a half hours, that is a good night for me. So, even though I am only 37 years old, I have very tired looking eyes. I started using this about 2 weeks ago and my dark circles are gone. My eyes do not look tired anymore. I put it on in the more and at night. I am so in love with LOL!

I do not sleep well at all. I am lucky to get 3 and a half of sleep a night. I tend to have the tired eye look. The circles under my eyes are now gone. I put it on in the morning and before I go to bed at night. I can not say how much I love LOL.

Based upon so many positive reviews, I ordered LOL Eye Serum a few months ago and used every last drop of it. I really like the texture of this serum and how it glides on with no tugging. The skin around my eyes just soaks it in, and I see an immediate difference with softening of lines and added moisture. When I ran out of LOL, I chose to save some money by using up some free samples I had in my drawer, and that was not a good decision! Today, I went online to order my LOL only to find it is currently out of stock! HAHA! That's what I deserve! Of course, I put my name on the list to get notified when it's back in stock!

I truly believe, which I suppose is obvious, that everyone is unique in these situations. I was using AQ's Eye Serum pretty religiously for several months, but I'm only 29 and it was sort of an accidental purchase, since it is aimed more for older skin. And with a $99 price tag, I decided to see if LOL could do the job for less. Oh my, does it ever!! Started just using on my right eye first to compare and the results were amazing! One the first application I noticed a difference and within a few more, switched completely over to LOL. It apparently just works better for my younger, but very life-long, dark circles, and I also found it a bit more moisturizing, which seemed to alleviate my small lines and crepiness better than the AQ, too. The only reason I give it a 'good' review and not 'perfect' is because I've merely been using it a week or so, but I'm thrilled so far and may call it a 'perfect' if this keeps up!!

I have just been using the LOL serum around my eyes for 6 mos. I really wanted to see if just a serum alone could do the trick. The answer is YES to LOL. I really believe that the longer you use this product the results get better and better. My dark circles are very slight from where I started. For $45.00 how can you go wrong? Definitely, worth a try.

I really like LOL and I have been using it for about three months and I saw improvement under my eyes (dark circles and lines). However, when it is allergy season ain't nothing go to help with my dark circles, I have been dealing with this since I was a teen!!!

I agree with Denise, I have been using LOL for at least a year and I have never experienced a white sheen under my eyes, perhaps you are using too much of the product? I only use the smallest amount...I will agree there is a slight smell from the essential oils but nothing like you have described and it really doesn't either bother me. I really love this product and use it everyday.

Heidi, I have LOL eye serum. It is opaque white in the bottle and has no real odor. It also disappears when I put it on. Not sure what you have, but it sounds nothing like what I have....

Maybe I got a bad bottle, but totally not impressed with this product. When I initially put it on, it left a white iridescent sheen under my eyes. Under make-up I'm sure this helps with the dark circles, but not really correct. After a few days use, the area under my eyes got super dry. The worst by far though is the smell. It smells to me like flea shampoo & to my boyfriend like Raid. It has a watery slimy feel and a chartreuse color. The expiration on this bottle is for 2014, though from these rave reviews, did I get a bad batch?

This is not a bestseller for no reason! It actually works. I have been using it for about two months and there is still one month to go left in the bottle. The bags and the dark circles have not dissapeared, but they have lessened. It does take at least three weeks to one month to notice the difference, though - at least for me it did. I am in my late thirties, if that helps. What I am very happy about is that I do no longer feel puffy and sleepy around the eyes until noon or even past noon. It's like I have been sleeping just as much as needed even though I (regularly) haven't. There is not much change in the fine lines around the eye area, but would still recomend this product, because it does eliminate the tired-puffy eye feel. Even when I stare at the computer monitor for numerous hours... and I do... every day.

Love this serum! I use it every night before bed and every morning after my shower. I've noticed much less defined crows feet after the past few months of use and I've always had an issue with puffy under-eye area which has become much less of an issue. Highly recommended!

I usually do not comment on products but I thought this eye serum was worth telling everyone about. I bought this serum because it seemed more reasonable than other eye products that TIA offers. I was looking for anything to help with the darkness under my eyes everyday. Not only has that gotten better but I see a tightening around my temple area and I swear my crows feet is getting less and less. I am one happy customer!!!

I absolutely love this product. It definitely does what it promises. I have been using LOL for almost a year because Living in Key West takes a toll on your skin. I use LOL every day and I immediately saw a significant difference on my eyes. I cannot live without this LOL. It is by far the best product I have used. Two thumbs up for this product and I definitely recommend LOL to everyone I know.

Unfortunately this promising serum caused irritation, and after applying it before going to bed I woke up with awfully puffed eyes like if I've spent previous evening crying hard. I am now wondering which ingredient could cause such an allergic reaction. In addition to that I found serum itself too sticky, even after I applied over it my regular beloved under-eye moisturizer.
Nevertheless, since LoL had such an amazing ingredients list I could not give it up so fast. And after I tried It on my lips I was pretty amazed since it performed as an extremely working lip plumper! Of course, it was still sticky, but after applying my regular balm, that unpleasant feeling disappears. It also helps a lot with lip dryness that I especially suffer each winter.
In general, even though it is somewhat wonderful option among low priced serums, I would not recommend it to people with sensitive skin easily prone to irritation.

I originally bought this serum to help with dark circles under the eye. I am a few years shy of 40 and the problem popped up about a year ago. The product didn't do much for me in the undereye area, but maybe my dark circles just aren't that bad yet, or maybe they are - and my problem is beyond repair! However, it has definitely helped with fine lines at the outer corner of my eyes and my upper eyelids in general. Before purchasing LOL, I had complained to a cousin in her 50s about how I could no longer curl my eyelashes without pinching my upper lids. She said, "I know what you mean, but you'll get used to it." Well, about 3-4 weeks after using LOL, I realized I was no longer having to stretch and contort my upper lids to keep them from catching in the eyelash curler! The skin in that area feels and looks firmer and smoother. The bottle lasted about 2 1/2 months for me. I am trying a new eye serum to see if it will help my undereye area, but if it doesn't, it's back to the LOL for me. Definitely worth re-purchasing!

Due to the peptides in this eye cream and competitive price, I really wanted this to work. Unfortunately, it irritated my eye area, probably due to the essentials oil or witch hazel. If only this had no oils or scent and it would be a winner for me. I love YBF correct as it has no irritating scents but is too expensive for me. I wish other companies were like YBF and didn't add irritating essential oils/fragrance

I found this serum to be great to really help with puffiness due to the inclusion of eyeseryl (Tetrapeptide-5) and it’s no wonder as it’s the 3rd ingredient listed. Eyeseryl is supposed to reduce water retention and ensure lymph drainage, while protecting collagen from cross-linking and causing baggy eyes. It also contains Bioskinup (Ptychopetalum Olaciodes Bark/Stem Extract, Pfaffia Paniculata Root Extract, Lilium Candidum Flower Extract), which alleviates puffiness and and acts as an anti-inflammatory. It has an almost instant tightening effect and is great for the puffiness caused by my allergies. However, I found this took longer than YBF Correct to help with my dark circles.
I really love this serum and it has become a must-have for me! While I don’t use the LOL every day, I always have it in my fridge (very refreshing to put on when it’s cold) to layer under YBF Correct on certain days that I need a bit more lift under my eyes.

OMG! This is a must have...I have tried so many eye serums and nothing has ever worked except LOL. I am already seeing improvement in a couples of weeks with the lines around my eyes and I swear the darkness under my eyes is fading!!! Finally, an eye serum that works and is affordable.

I bought after reading the reviews because I suffer from serious dark circles. I have been using for about a month and I am already seeing a difference! My circles are definitely lighter. You only need to apply a tiny amount because a little goes a long way. So far, I am thrilled with the results and I will be adding LOL to my daily routine. I’ve been using Skinfinite’s LOL for about 2 months, and as far as the dark circles under the eyes…it does take care of them beautifully! I’ve had to use two different concealers to hide my circles and make my eyes look bright and fresh, but since using the LOL, I’ve been able to eliminate both concealers! And yes, it does eliminate lines. That was my whole reason for trying it…I’m almost 48 and my eyes are my biggest age give-away. Since using it, the lines have diminished quite a bit!
