Arcona Infinite Odyssey Body Wash is a soothing, energizing and foaming body wash formulated with natural astringents and herbal compounds that leaves skin feeling fresh and young. Rather than using harsh sulfates that strip your skin of moisture, Arcona contains natural yucca root extract to create a rich lather that will leave your skin clean, pampered and hydrated. Just like all of the products in the TIA shop, this cleanser has been
tested and approved by a neutral reviewer. She loves how luxurious and refreshing this shower gel is, and we're sure you will too!
This revitalizing body wash contains skin-soothing
shea butter along with a powerful punch of fruit and flower extracts for a delicious, energizing scent. Crucially, Arcona's products contain no irritating sodium laurel sulfate, parabens, perfumes or dyes.
TIA Review by Valerie B:
After meeting with the folks from Arcona at TIA headquarters, the reps were kind enough to leave our team with generous goodie bags. I am still working my way through mine, but one product that I used immediately – and fell in love with almost as quickly – was the Arcona Infinite Odyssey Body Wash. And not just because of its beautiful lavender color (I’m a fan of purple). Like all Arcona products, the body wash is all natural, and you can be sure that every ingredient had been carefully considered before it ended up in the bottle.
I never thought I’d like a “green” body cleanser because the ones I’ve used in the past never provided enough foaming action for my taste. But the Mukti Bath & Shower Gel was the first to change my mind. I still use the Mukti shower gel and may never go back to drugstore brands, most of which contain sodium lauryl sulfate and/or other harsh chemical surfactants. And then there’s Arcona’s lavender-hued body wash.
Infinite Odyssey (such a regal name) has a rich lather that comes courtesy of yucca root extract and coconut-derived decyl glucoside. And the second ingredient is one of my favorite skin softeners, shea butter. The body wash also contains witch hazel, an anti-inflammatory, as well as fruit extracts (tangerine, cranberry, mango) and calming flower extracts galore. I love how the floral fragrance, from essential oils, lingers in the air after each shower and subtly on my skin. It’s a pampering experience – and my new purple obsession.

Hi Anitha, I find it intriguing that your comment is copied word for word from Skin Actives' website: http://www.skinactives.com/blog/?p=184. You may be intrigued that Skin Actives is not correct. In the Proceedings of the American Pharmaceutical Society (vol 51), laurel berry derivatives are cited as containing sesquiterpenes. Not to mention a reference in the appendix of the Toxic Substances Control Act. Laurel contains a very mild surfactant. Laurel oil is used to make traditional Aleppo soap from Syria.

There is no such thing as laurel berry derivative in the INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients), used by the industry to put some order in the labels. The "laurel berry derivative" is probably sodium lauryl sulfate, a detergent that people don't like to see in the label because it is a known irritant, Unfortunately, it is the best ingredient when it comes to giving you bubbles for very little money, and manufacturers love it. This is an example of the "organic" label being used by people who have no problem lying.

This is my favorite body wash. Allergies forced me to quit using regular soaps. Infinite Odyssey is not real sudsy, a little bit smooths on easily, and the fragrance is very mild and relaxing. I feel cleaner, for a longer period of time, than when I use soap. When I wash my face with it, my face doesn't get oily as quickly as when using other cleaners. Hesitant to use a body wash at first, now I prefer this Arcona body wash over soaps.

I've been repeatedly surprised and disappointed by the ingredients in the allegedly "natural" products I've tried. Arcona was a real winner for me — its impressively natural ingredients include shea butter, witch hazel and essential oils, and its rich lather comes from plant extracts. It has a soothing, floral scent that is just heavenly — I love how delicately it lingers on my skin.

I have tried a number of natural body washes and was expecting the Arcona Infinite Odyssey Body Wash to be about the same — not foaming or rich. I was very pleasantly surprised at how much this body wash foamed, even when using just a little of it. About 1/4 teaspoon applied to my shower puff yields a rich foam that covers my whole body. The smell is heavenly. I know that some people don't like the strong smells of certain Arcona products, but the scent of this body wash isn't overpowering. I found it to be just enough to wake up my senses in the morning. It smells slightly citrusy and very energizing.
