Briogeo Curl Charisma Curl Defining Conditioner is specially formulated for curly or wavy hair. It contains hydrating ingredients, such as rosehip, sweet almond oil and shea butter to eliminate dullness, define texture and restore shine. This conditioner also contains rice amino acids to reduce frizz and tomato fruit extract to encourage consistent curl formation. No parabens, silicones or phthalates.

Directions:
After shampooing, apply evenly and massage conditioner into the hair. Leave in for two minutes before rinsing. For extra moisture retention, rinse the conditioner lightly from the hair.

TIA Review by Murielle:
When I received my bottle of Briogeo Curl Charisma Conditioner, I expected it might give my hair a little more shine, but I didn't anticipate anything more. But here's a happy surprise: my extremely fine, color-treated, shoulder-length wavy hair loves Curl Charisma! Being in my mid-fifties, my hair has become thinner, finer, brittle/breakage prone and looks quite limp without using a lot of styling product — until now.

Upon first use, I was struck by Curl Charisma's rich, thick consistency and the lovely, light fragrance. Users are advised to leave it on for at least two minutes, then rinse — or you may rinse lightly, leaving a little bit of product in for "extra moisture retention." After use, my hair was much easier to comb out, and I found fewer tangles. As my hair air-dried, the natural curl was accentuated, and I had more overall body. I didn't even bother to use a styling product! Afterward, my hair seemed to have less of a propensity for tangling, and I was able to comb the hair with my fingers without having it break as easily as it normally does.

My hair was shiny, moisturized, and yet somehow it had more body! That's the magic combination for women with curly or wavy hair, as we try to accentuate the curls, make sure the conditioner doesn't weigh down the hair and still try to keep frizz and dryness at bay. And even though we know we should shampoo the roots and condition the length, sometimes conditioners that are made to moisturize curly hair end up making the roots and scalp oily in order to feed the hair's depleted ends. Not so with Curl Charisma. I've tried it with a full rinse and a light rinse, and both left my hair in lovely condition with defined curls without making my scalp oily.

Accumulated use of Curl Charisma over a one-month period has made my hair stronger, less prone to breakage and I have much more body in my hair than I did before I began using the product. I can't remember the last time my hair felt so thick and strong.

Briogeo Curl Charisma Conditioner boasts NO silicones, parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, synthetic fragrance or artificial color. Instead, it uses ingredients like aloe, grapefruit and orange oil, shea, cedarwood, patchouli, ylang, sunflower seed oil, rosehip oil, rice, bamboo, and tomato extracts. This accounts for the "95% naturally derived ingredients." Of the not-so-naturally derived ingredients, cetaryl alcohol, cetrimonium chloride, isododecane, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, dehydroacetic acid and benzyl alcohol, they are all found, in minute amounts, in many beauty products. After looking them up on TIA's handy "Ingredients" page, I see that there is nothing on the product list that should be a cause for concern.

Curl Charisma is well worth a try for ladies and gents with curly locks. Loaded with amino acids and healthy ingredients, it made my hair the happiest it's been in years!

I am so interested in this line. I am always on the look out for good natural products for my curly, color-treated hair, especially ones that will keep dryness and fizziness at bay. I am a true believer in deep conditioning treatments and would love to try Don't Despair, Repair

I'd love to try to Don't Despair, Repair! conditioning mask--my hair is thinning and brittle from regular flat-ironing. I prefer to keep it long with highlights, but it's getting very scraggly and fried from the constant styling. Although I have a very healthy diet and regularly use conditioner and a heat protector cream, a deep conditioning treatment might make a world of difference.
