Interior Designer and mother of two, I am always on the lookout for low-toxicity skincare products and cosmetics.The birth of my first child in 2007 was when I began to educate myself about personal care products. I wanted to know exactly what I was slathering all over my tiny baby – and when I found out, I was dumbfounded. I wouldn’t put most of this stuff on myself, much less my baby! I began to diligently research personal care product ingredients and through the wonders of the Internet, stumbled upon Truth in Aging. Honest reviews by unbiased people and Marta's wealth of information kept me coming back to learn and share my own experiences.

I will soon hold my bachelor's degree in interior design, with an emphasis in designing sustainable and healthy interiors. That commitment to sustainability continues in my beauty and skincare philosophy, and I prefer products with healthy ingredients that do no harm to people, animals, and our planet. Mindful of a budget, I am always on the lookout for products that offer great value. At 35, the sleepless nights required as an adult student and a mom of two boys under five are aging me faster than ever, but I refuse to let the wrinkles and puffy under-eye circles win. I look forward to exploring and sharing with the TIA community!
